Specialized Performance Training. Offensive/Defensive Lineman Training

08/13/2026

This week we welcome Aiden Kim to the Spotlight.

Aiden is a center and defensive tackle for Oakdale High School’s Boys Varsity football team, Class of 2028. Standing 5’9” and 220 pounds, Aiden may not be the biggest guy on the line, but he makes up for it with fundamentals.

He came to Hawg to sharpen his technique and has seen major gains since starting, putting up a 255 pound bench press, a 500 pound squat, and a 205 pound clean max. Aiden also competed in the HCC JV Invitational, throwing the 12 pound shot put 28 feet 5.25 inches.

In his own words, Aiden says the biggest improvement has been in his fundamentals since he started training with Shannon. He credits the atmosphere at Hawg for pushing him further, saying he loves working alongside guys from other schools and feeding off Shannon’s attitude in the gym. Aiden’s advice to other athletes is simple: it doesn’t matter if you’re the tallest or the strongest, you just have to work on your fundamentals.

Aiden recommends Hawg to every athlete looking to build a stronger foundation, no matter their size.

This week we welcome Arjun Krishnan to the Spotlight, a junior varsity offensive guard at Quince Orchard. Arjun has put in the work on the fundamentals up front, focusing on pass protection and run blocking to give his offense the edge in the trenches. He credits Shannon Breen not just for the training, but for the personality and energy he brings to every session at Hawg. Arjun’s advice for anyone thinking about joining is simple: hard work beats talent. Keep grinding, Arjun, we’re proud to have you in the Hawg family.

This week we welcome Bentley Buker to the Spotlight.

Bentley plays football at New Market Middle School, and he’s seen his agility take off since starting the program, crediting the box jumps for getting his legs stronger and his first step quicker. That extra strength and explosiveness carries straight onto the field, whether he’s lined up in the trenches or covering a receiver at corner, giving him the edge to be prepared, physical, and competitive against whoever lines up across from him.

Bentley’s favorite part of training with Shannon is the challenge. Being pushed physically has translated into real improvement heading into the season. He said he’d recommend this program to anyone, no matter the sport, calling it a place that builds you up both mentally and physically.
