Thank you Commissioner Manny Ramirez! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿซก

Standing up for the Tarrant County veterans who stood up for us.

Our veterans answered the call to protect this country. When they come home, they shouldn't have to fight through red tape to get the support they earned.

I'm committed to making sure Tarrant County veterans have real access to local health resources, career-transition help, and the benefits they've earned through their service. Through the county's work to salute and support those who served, I'm doing my part to honor their sacrifice with action, not just words.

To every veteran in Tarrant County: thank you. I've got your back.

Tarrant County Judge Vanover recently accepted, on behalf of Tarrant County, a grant for $397,000 from the Texas Veterans Commission to support the Tarrant County Veterans Treatment Court.

This court is an incredible resource for our veterans, that has reduced recidivism rates and given our veterans a second chance. Great work Judge Vanover! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

On this Memorial Day we pause to honor, remember, and celebrate those who gave their lives so that we may enjoy the freedom and comforts that America has to offer today.

We can never repay the debt we owe to those who made that sacrifice, but how we live each day can ensure that their sacrifice was not in vain.

We honor them by living. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
