Elite teams.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what makes them.

Is it the leader? The culture? The talent?

Honestly, it’s all of those things.

But one thing I know for certain is that elite teams create the conditions for people to be themselves the best version of themselves.

For those who have been lucky enough to be a part of a truly high-performing team, you know it’s almost impossible to replace. It’s addictive.

The group pushes you.

You fail. You succeed. You struggle. You win. You lose. You cry. You laugh.

All as a unit.

And somewhere in that process, you become the version of yourself you always knew existed, but had yet to unlock.

The people in these programs earn that. Through early mornings, hard conversations, difficult lessons, and most of all, by being vulnerable enough to let their light shine.

Take a look at the athletes in this photo. Individuals all shining in their own way, yet connected by a common goal.

That’s the magic of elite teams.

They don’t erase individuality, they amplify it in service of something bigger than themselves.

Sometimes we’re most at home when we’re on the court.

Huge shoutout to this team at WT. They taught me far more than I ever taught them.

To all athletes looking for a college to call home, Happy June 15th. Find YOUR fit.

Hunt a program that will help you be the best version of yourself.

Really valuable perspective from Jason Williams, Head Coach at TCU.

A lot of athletes build their recruiting expectations almost entirely off highlights and social media. Watching the level in person brings a completely different kind of clarity.

Not to discourage athletes- but to help them understand the standard, what actually translates, and what they need to develop to get there.

“Is he like this all the time?”

Yeah…he is😂

Same energy on a random Tuesday.
Same standard when it’s time to work.

That’s the balance.

Grateful for this - and even more grateful to have had the chance to work with Kendra. She’s one of the best coaches in the game, and someone we have a lot of respect for.

Our goal truly is to create a gym where athletes can train at a high level, improve in ways that actually stick, and still enjoy being in the gym every day.

This is what we’re building.

For 15s and 16s athletes.

Division I level coaching.
Mental performance.
Strength and conditioning that actually translates.

High standards - but still a gym they enjoy being in.

We’re doing small group training in April.

First impressions matter - especially in recruiting.

Featuring Ijeoma Alstrup - Head Coach, Abilene Christian University (D1)

With so many athletes reaching out, coaches often make quick decisions based on what they see first.

Make those moments count.

D1 vs D2 is misunderstood by a lot of athletes and parents.

Torrey Miller is a National Champion, 4x All-American and former college coach, and she shared her perspective on the differences.

The goal isn’t just the logo.

It’s finding the place where you can compete and grow.
