There is a story behind these minerals that goes back to the Creation story of the Diné.
The story of Monster Slayer and the Boy Who Runs with Water. Their journey for weapons to destroy the Monsters who had descended into their homes and clans and brought envy, greed, famine...the fiercest of them all was Yé'iitsoh, who was covered in flint armor. Monster Slayer shot him with the Lightning bolt arrow and he exploded..his black blood created reservoirs of volcanic pockets thru the land. This blood of Yé'iitsoh, IS the Sacred Minerals we use to bring life into our soils and into the pristine skin care products of Pablo's Lotus Apothecary.
