A big Panther thank you to Cole Cayce for speaking at Varsity game day breakfast this past week. Mr. Cayce, PHS Class of 1992, was a 3 year Varsity Letterman quarterback and two sport athlete (football/baseball). Mr. Cayce went on to play at Texas A&M-Commerce
(4 year letterman, 3 year team captain, 1st team all conference, TAMUC HOF 2016). He went on to play in Arena Leage and Canadian League. Most importantly he spoke to Varsity about the importance of team, leadership, faith, and giving back to our community. He also shared a very impactful statement that he learned from one of his McLean Middle School coaches (Go Cardinals!), we’ve deemed it The Champion’s Standard:

But the man who fights like hell to win.
When you reach the end of your rope,
Tie a knot and hang on.

There is someone behind you trying to take your place”

🏈 The Paschal Football Club is thrilled to welcome our new Offensive Coordinator, Coach Harvey Wiggins! Harvey C Wiggins 🏈
A DFW native and South Grand Prairie High School graduate, Coach Wiggins played on the offensive line while receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from East Texas Baptist University. During his time at ETBU, Coach Wiggins had a successful football career on the offensive line, which set several season and school records at ETBU. Following graduation from ETBU, he attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Upon graduation, Coach Wiggins returned to the DFW area and served on the coaching staffs at Sunset, Hillcrest, and Arlington Lamar High School.
At Hillcrest, he helped lead the Panthers back to the playoffs after nearly a decade-long absence. He developed an offensive line that paved the way for a 1,000-yard rusher during the shortened eight-game COVID season. His offense averaged over 30 points per game. At Arlington Lamar, he helped guide the program’s growth beginning in 2021. During the 2025 season, the offense averaged more than 33 points per game totaling 2,587 passing yards and 2,277 rushing yards.
Coach Wiggins and his wife, Jenna, have been married since 2020. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Sabrina and Raven.
