Fins went 2-2 at B State this weekend! Though we didn’t end the way we’d hoped, we had some great moments and a lot of fun! We celebrated our Fins dads with custom jerseys and cake pops!

Offensive leaders this weekend:
🏃🏼‍♀️Hannah Blotkamp batting .750 with .857 on base percentage, 1RBI, and 4 stolen bases
☄️Emily Thrash batting .600 with a double that was inches from being a grand slam, and 3RBI
💪🏽Harper Lee batting .600
🔥Makayla Ketchum batting .500 with 3RBI

Defensive standout:
🥎 In the pitching circle, Claire Delgado with an ERA of 1.5 and WHIP 1.286. She faced 24 batters, allowing just 4 hits (opponent batting average .190), 1 earned run, 2 walks, 6 strike outs

Heading to Elkhart this weekend!

Our girls are competing in Decatur this weekend! Tonight started off strong with a win vs Kraken, and ended with a tough loss to the Stingers after our Fins led most the game. The evening was full of positivity, smiles, and pure love for each other and the game. It is so much fun watching these girls use softball as a platform to share their faith and the talents God has given them!

The bats were hot tonight! After two games:
McKenzie Buuck batting .667 with a double and 1 RBI
Gabby Morris batting .667 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI
Hadleigh Conrad batting .667 with 1 sacrifice & 3 RBI
Piper Minehart batting .500 with 2 RBI
Eva McHenry batting .500 with a triple
Hannah Blotkamp batting .400 with a triple and 1 RBI

What a game! We had a rough start, made a few errors, and were struggling at the plate. We found ourselves down 0-10 but never gave up! We fought all the way back, scoring 9 unanswered runs, but fell just short when time expired. Very proud of the fight & teamwork these ladies showed this weekend!

After 5 games:
🥇 Emily Thrash batted .778 with 3 triples and 6 RBI
🥈Hannah Blotkamp batted .429 with 2 RBI
🥉Mack Lindelien (3 games) batted .400

These girls love softball, but love Jesus and each other more! Going to carry this fire to Decatur next weekend!

Day 2 ended with two ties! These ladies BATTLED today! They didn’t give up and encouraged each other through some tough moments.
