Twenty-five wins. Eight losses. Those numbers are something to be proud of, but they don't even begin to tell the story of this team.
I couldn't be more proud of these boys and everything they accomplished this season. They showed up every day ready to work, pushed each other to get better, and never stopped believing in one another. They battled through the highs and the lows, and they never quit until the very last pitch of our season was thrown.
A 25-8 record doesn't happen by accident. It comes from countless hours of practice, extra swings in the cage, long weekends at the ballpark, and a commitment to being the best teammates they could be.
As a coach, watching this group grow—not just as baseball players, but as young men—has been the greatest reward. You represented Flamingo's Baseball with heart, toughness, and class every time you stepped onto the field.
To every player: thank you for trusting me, for working your tails off, and for making this season one I'll never forget. I love every one of you guys, and I couldn't be more honored to have been your coach.
Hold your heads high. Be proud of what you accomplished. This may be the end of the season and end of the Flamingo's as a program, but the memories, friendships, and lessons we've built together will last forever.
Once a Flamingo, always a Flamingo. 🦩⚾❤️

🦩⚾🌎 14U A World Series Week is Here! 🌎⚾🦩
This weekend, the Flamingos head to Brownsburg, Indiana to compete in the 14U A World Series!
The boys kick off pool play on Thursday against the Trenton Travelers from Michigan. On Friday, they'll battle the Boone County Badgers before wrapping up pool play against our friends from Legends Baseball.
This is our final tournament of the season and the moment we've been working toward all year. Every practice, every game, every lesson learned, and every ounce of hard work has led us to this opportunity.
Now it's time to leave it all on the field. Play for each other. Compete with heart. Have fun. Let's show everyone what Flamingos Baseball is all about and finish this season the right way.
Let's finish the year with a bang!
LET'S GO FLAMINGOS! 🦩⚾💪

Early and late game errors cost Flamingos a chance at a State Tournament title run.
The Flamingos fell to the Seymour Diamondbacks 10-9 Saturday morning as they could not overcome costly mistakes in the field.
The Diamondbacks came out swinging and took advantage of a sluggish start by the Flamingos, jumping out to a 4-0 lead after the first half inning. To their credit, the Flamingos never quit, battling back throughout the game and eventually taking an 8-7 lead after four innings.
Unfortunately, three more defensive errors in the top of the fifth inning opened the door for Seymour to score three runs and reclaim the lead. Once again, the Flamingos answered in the bottom half of the inning and had the tying run on second and the winning run on first base, but could not come up with the big hit they needed.
Despite the loss, the boys showed tremendous fight and resilience, refusing to back down after falling behind early. The comeback effort just wasn't enough to overcome the seven defensive miscues that proved costly throughout the game.
The Flamingos will look to learn from the mistakes and continue building on a season that has featured plenty of growth, grit, and determination.

🦩⚾ FLAMINGO'S GO 2-0 IN POOL PLAY AT STATE! ⚾🦩
The Flamingos got things started bright and early Friday morning against the Boone County Badgers. The bats weren't at their best, but the boys found a way to grind out a tough 6-4 victory against a very solid Badgers squad.
In Game 2, everything came together in all three phases of the game.
Levi Tippmann got the start on the mound and was outstanding, throwing 3 innings while allowing just 2 hits, striking out 5, and issuing no walks.
At the plate, the Flamingos exploded for 10 hits and drew 8 walks. Owen Petersen and LJ Green each collected 2 hits, while Les Leavell added 2 hits of his own and put an exclamation point on the win with a walk-off 3-run home run! 💣⚾
With that blast, Les officially becomes the third member of the Flamingos Bomb Squad!
The Flamingos played one of their most complete games of the season, getting it done on the mound, at the plate, and in the field. Now we wait to see where we're seeded as the elimination bracket begins Saturday.

🦩⚾ FLAMINGOS ARE STATE TOURNAMENT BOUND! ⚾🦩
The Flamingos kick off their USSSA State Tournament bright and early Friday morning in Columbus/Greensburg as they take on the Boone County Badgers Baseball Black at 9:00 AM in Game 1 of pool play.
In Game 2, the Flamingos will face a very familiar opponent as they take on the Fort Wayne Diamondbacks Horace at 11:00 AM. At this point, it feels like it'll be the 57th time we've played each other in the last three weeks! 🤣
The Flamingos look to keep their strong tournament run rolling as they chase a State Championship. This group has battled, competed, and continued to improve all season long.
Play hard. Play together. Play for each other.
Let's go Flamingos! 🦩🔥⚾💪
