Finishing one project usually sparks the next 💡

This Wrist Lanyard wasn’t necessarily inspired by a custom order or specific theme. Sometimes I just stumble on a color combo in the process of pairing colors for a different piece. But now that I see it finished, it gives me a subtle mermaid or sea glass vibe.
📺 Pixel Noise weaves together pinks, red, teal, blue, silver and white into a lively pattern - It can appear more pink or purple depending on how it’s paired.
🌸 Lilac brings a soft, lavender tone that keeps the design feeling calm and balanced, adding just enough color without competing for attention agains the patterned cords.
🌟 Polaris provides more depth and contrast with its rich teal color, grounding the lanyard with a deeper ocean water look.

What would you call this color combination if you had to give it a name?

Sometimes a custom order starts with a simple, “Can you match this?” 🤔

And I will nearly twist my ankle running to my inventory to find the perfect cords. Nicole reached out hoping for a Wrist Lanyard inspired by the colors of her phone and its case, and I loved bringing that vision to life. Seeing how excited she was with the finished color match made this project even more rewarding.
As a bonus, this was a local order! So instead of making a trip through the mail, it went straight from my hands to hers. It’s always a nice change of pace getting to create for someone right here in the community!
Now onto those colors.. I pulled Emerald Green, Green Mesa, and Burnt Orange to capture the look she was after.
🌲 Emerald Green adds a deep, rich green with a slight warm undertone.
🏜️ Green Mesa brings in some earthy colors while also providing a pop of brightness.
🧡 Burnt Orange finishes off the piece with a warm burst of color as the Turks Head knot, tying the whole palette together beautifully.

This custom order came with one request: “Make it pink.” - The rest was up to me.

A huge Thank You to Louis for trusting me with complete creative freedom on this Wrapture Keychain. Knowing someone is excited to be surprised makes the creative process even more fun. So naturally, I pulled 2 of my newest colors I was excited about: Cotton Candy and Fuchsia.
🍬 Cotton Candy is a patterned cord that blends together equal parts pink and light blue with smaller accents of purple, showing off a little personality with every twist.
💗 Fuchsia felt like the natural choice to complement Cotton Candy, adding a rich pink that brings depth and harmony to the finished piece.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

What more appropriate than to showcase a Shamrock Macramé Coaster? Many times my projects come about because someone had asked if I can make XYZ and I responded, “ I haven’t but I can figure it out.” That’s half the fun, really, and I thank Rick for the nudge to make this piece. Made of all half hitches, this coaster used over 50 feet of cord! And of course I selected a green, Kelly Green to be specific.
🟢 Kelly Green has a slight cooler undertone vs. my standard green and this particular shade has an even slighter shein to it.

No two sunsets are exactly the same and that’s what inspired this one 🌆

After finishing the first sunset lanyard, I wanted to explore the same inspiration from another angle. Bringing the pink and purple tones in sooner gives this one the feel of those last colorful moments before twilight settles in. This time I picked out Alloy Orange, Carnival, Fuchsia, Suns, and Acid Purple.
✴️ Alloy Orange kicks us off with a warm, golden-orange that captures a final burst of sunlight before the sun slips away for the night.
🎡 Carnival weaves together red, orange, yellow, and purple, adding a playful streak of color while making a beautiful transition.
💗 Fuchsia bridges the warmth of oranges to the coolness of purples, much like the ribbons of pink the show up as daylight fades.
☀️ Suns brings another layer of warm orange, helping along a natural transition while keeping that lingering glow alive.
💟 Acid Purple grounds the palette with a deep, rich that always seems to arrive as the night settles in.

This lanyard is not lacking in brightness or personality with specific colors: Think Pink, Pixel Noise, Turquoise, and Fusion.
🤔 Think Pink is a bold, coral-like pink that feels bright and energetic without crossing too much into neon. It sets the tone for the entire piece, adding warmth and playful personality.
📺 Pixel Noise brings a fun mix of salmon and neon pinks, red, teal, blue, silver, and white. From a distance it leans toward a pinkish purple, but up close it’s full of tiny surprises that keep your eyes discovering new colors.

The cords seemed to find each other naturally and before long the cheerful blend of golden yellows, vibrant pinks, and rich purples found their way into my hands. Projects like this remind me just how much I enjoy playing with color and this one definitely sparked ideas for a few future combinations I have to try. The specific cords used here are Air Force Gold, Alloy Orange, Carnival, Dahlia, and Purple.
