We will update on a few more post race things as we get them, and will post pictures once we get them, but wanted to share an event with a group close to our organizing team that is hosting a youth splash and dash on October 3 in Lemont, IL. See link for details.

The LemonTriClub Youth Splash and Dash is on Saturday October 3, 2026. It includes the following events: LemonTriClub Youth Splash and Dash Senior (11-17yrs) and LemonTriClub Youth Splash and Dash Junior (6-10yrs).

One day to race day!

Packet Pick-Up is today from 3 PM - 7 PM at the Lake Geneva Marine 454 Lake St, Fontana-On-Geneva Lake, WI 53125 (Enter through the back by the parking lot.

Race day packet pick-up is 5 AM - 6:15 AM at the same location.

Transition is set up, buoys are set, course is being marked, we are getting ready for you to race the lake!

Water temp on Thursday was 74 and we expect the race to be wetsuit legal. We will make race day announcements on water temp and wetsuits.

Get ready to Tri...and Race the Lake!

Packet Pick-Up starts Friday 9/11 at the Lake Geneva Marine in Fontana (located close to the beach and finish line) from 3 - 7 PM. Race day packet pick up from 5 AM - 6:15 AM at the same spot.

And this year we welcome back athlete Liz F, a Fontana resident and someone who dares to tri...she will once again will sing the national anthem and rock our course!

Race Start Time and Start Procedure:

The race will use a Time Trial (TT) start format. Several swimmers will be released every few seconds. The Collegiate Wave will go first at 6:45 AM. The Sprint start will begin at 7:00 AM. Once all of the Sprint athletes are started, there will be a brief pause, then the Olympic start begins in the same TT format.

We will ask athletes to self-seed themselves within their race group (Sprint or Olympic) with the faster swimmers lined up near the front.

Sprint = Green Swim Caps
Olympic = Orange Swim Caps

No in-water warm-ups. Consider a warm up on land instead - a light jog, brisk walk, arm circles, or other dynamic movement works great.

Transition:

Transition will be located in the lawn area adjacent to Fontana Beach. It will be a short run from the Swim exit to T1. Bike racks will be organized by race (Olympic and Sprint), but bikes will not be assigned a specific space.

Transition closes at 6:30 AM Sharp. No re-entry to transition until all bikes have returned from the course.

Per USAT rules an ID is required and only the registered athlete may pick up the packet. One member of a relay team may pick up the packet.
