Nobody tells you this stuff early enough.

Fasted training, low fat diets, maximal effort every session, an untested gut, generic protein, a GP blood panel that says everything’s fine. Every single one of these quietly limits performance for years before anyone connects the dots.

The good news is none of it requires guesswork once you actually test for it.

I’m starting to get good at this running thing.

Then something wasn’t right. Heavy legs, no energy, and it bled into daily life too, exhausted at work, irritable at home. Better one week, worse the next, with no pattern I could pin down.

I saw doctors. Even one of the best sports medicine doctors around. Nobody could explain it. I genuinely started to think running just wasn’t for me.

Athlete Nutrition Coach was my last real attempt.

We ran a GI Map, and it found exactly what everyone else had missed. Gut imbalances quietly driving the fatigue and inconsistency I’d been fighting for months.

Oh. This makes sense.

I started to feel better, in a way that actually held. Then won my first three races of the season, running a 25:01 8k cross country time.

If your body’s working against you and nobody can explain why, there’s often an answer. You just haven’t found the right person to look yet.

Most people are guessing when it comes to their supplement stack. Trial and error, whatever’s trending, whatever a friend recommended.

The truth is every supplement has a specific job to do, and most people are either taking the wrong ones, the wrong form, or at the wrong time to actually get the benefit.

Recovery, performance, immunity, joint health, sleep, breathing efficiency. Each one needs something different, and the research behind the right choices is clear once you actually look at it.

That’s exactly why we build supplement stacks around real data, not trends. Tailored to what your training actually demands, not what’s popular this month.

Most athletes think more training is always the answer. It rarely is. Poor sleep, underfuelling, skipping easy days, ignoring what the body is actually telling you, all of it quietly cancels out the hard work being put in.

Good recovery isn’t complicated but it isn’t accidental either. It’s consistent sleep, proper fuelling, supplementation built around what your body actually needs, and recovery days that are genuinely easy.

This is exactly what our 360 degree optimisation programme is built around. Functional testing to see what’s actually going on inside. Personalised nutrition and supplementation based on those results. Training and recovery guidance that fits your body, not a generic template.

Because performance isn’t just about what you do in training. It’s about everything you do around it.

Carbs are the enemy. Said no elite endurance athlete ever.

The low carb myth has been circulating in endurance sport for years and it keeps holding athletes back. The body needs carbohydrate to perform at intensity. Without it VO2 max drops, lactate threshold falls and recovery between sessions slows significantly.

What elite athletes actually do is periodise their carbohydrate intake. Higher carb around hard sessions and races. Lower carb on easy days to support fat adaptation. Strategic not restricted.

That is a very different thing from cutting carbs entirely.

The gut affects everything. Energy, recovery, immunity, hormones, mood. When it is not functioning properly nothing else is either. And most athletes have been pushing through gut dysfunction for years without ever knowing it was there.

The GI Map tells us exactly what is going on. H pylori destroying stomach acid. Dysbiosis throwing the bacterial balance off. Low secretory IgA leaving the immune system exposed every training block. Parasites stealing nutrients the body needs to perform.

Once we know what is there we can actually fix it. Targeted supplementation, nutrition built around gut repair, and a protocol specific to what the testing reveals.

Not guesswork. Real data. Real results.
