1st Tournament Results for the West Region.

🎣 Fairview High School Bass Fishing Team – Tournament Report: West Tennessee Region BASS Nation High School Stop #1 🎣

Our anglers hit the water for the first stop of the season, and it turned out to be a grind! With scorching summer heat, the fish didn't cooperate quite as easily as we would have liked, and finding that critical size needed for the scales proved tough for all 80 competing teams.

Every single one of our teams located and caught fish, battling hard from takeoff to weigh-in:

Boat #9 – William Reid & Finn Myhr (Captain: Will Reid) fished hard all day but ultimately struggled to find a keeper in the tough conditions.

Boat #35 – Ian Parks & Trace McCoy (Captain: John Parks) also put in a relentless effort on the water, fighting through the slow bite.

Boat #33 – Haden Brite & Easton Baker (Captain: Jon Harris) shook off a tough early morning and managed to put something together before time ran out, bringing 3 fish to the scales for 7.97 lbs!

In a grueling 3-fish limit tournament with 80 elite boats, Brite and Baker's bag earned an impressive 8th place finish! To top it all off, Haden reeled in a massive 5.02 lb kicker that secured Big Fish of the Tournament! 🏆

We want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to our incredible boat captains—John Parks, Jon Harris, and Will Reid—for donating their time, boat control, and expertise to keep our anglers safe and on fish.

We are exceptionally proud of all these student-athletes for representing Fairview with grit, teamwork, and class.

Next up: Stop #2 for the West Region is heading to Dover, TN, on September 26th! Let's keep the momentum rolling! 🚤💨

🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR OUR FAIRVIEW BASS TEAM! 🚨

PLEASE SHARE!

We are in desperate need of a boat captain for one of our high school fishing teams that is ready to compete. Without a boat captain, these young men may not have the opportunity to participate in upcoming tournaments.

These are not just anglers, they're polite, respectful, hardworking young men who represent our school and community with pride. They are eager to fish and compete, but we need an adult volunteer with a boat to help make it happen.

If you have a boat and are willing to help mentor and support a great group of student anglers, please reach out. Even if you can't help directly, please share this post so we can find someone who can.

🎣 Fairview Bass Fishing Team | Tennessee Bass Nation State Championship Recap 🏆

What an incredible experience at Watts Bar Lake on May 29th & 30th! Our two Fairview teams competed hard at the State Championship against some of the most talented young anglers in Tennessee Bass Nation — and the level of competition was absolutely top notch.

Friday's great weather was a blessing on a lake our kids had very little experience on, and both teams made the most of it!

📊 Results:
🎣 Ian Parks & Trace McCoy — 3 fish | 6.32 lbs | 99th place
🎣 Haden Brite — 1 fish | 2.32 lbs | 116th place

A special shoutout to Haden, who battled through boat issues and was only able to fish ONE day — and still came home with a fish on the board. That's heart right there! 💪

Watching these young anglers compete at this level is something special, and we couldn't be more proud of the effort every one of them gave. The future of this team is incredibly bright, and we can't wait to see them grow!
