Eat Clean-ish Simple, sustainable weight loss through balanced nutrition and mindset development

09/09/2026

You finally sit down at the end of the day and realize… you didn’t do a single thing for yourself. Again.

You handled work.
Made sure everybody ate.
Took care of the “real quick” requests.

And every time you thought about taking a break, going for a walk, or making yourself something to eat… something else felt more urgent.

So you told yourself you’d get to you later.

Then later came...
and you were too tired to do much of anything.

That’s the part I want you to pay attention to.

Somewhere along the way, you became the easiest person in your life to put off.

🚨 Everybody else’s needs feel important.
⏸️ Yours feel like they can wait.

And after doing that long enough, it starts to feel normal.

Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean ignoring the people you love.

It means you stop being the first thing sacrificed every time life gets full.

Because you CAN show up for everybody else without constantly abandoning yourself.

If you’ve been trying to lose weight, take better care of yourself, and stop disappearing from your own priority list every time life gets busy…

I've been on the weight loss rollercoaster almost my entire life.

📉 I'd lose 10-15 pounds.
📈 Then gain it back.
📉 Then lose 40 pounds.
📈 Then gain it back.

I was constantly cycling through different diets, programs, and meal plans chasing results I hoped would finally last.

But instead of seeing those past attempts as failures, I eventually started viewing them as data.

Every cycle taught me something about what was realistic, practical, and sustainable for ME.

And eventually, I realized something important:

Losing weight wasn't the hardest part.
Maintaining the weight loss was.

And honestly, THAT has been the real flex!

Not just losing 100+ pounds… but building a healthier lifestyle I've been able to maintain for almost 8 years. 💪🏾🏆

For me, that took more than changing what I ate or how much I moved.

✨ I had to change how I thought about weight loss.
✨ I had to stop constantly putting myself last.
✨ And I had to learn how to build healthy habits that could still work when life didn't go according to plan.

That's how Eat Clean-ish was born. 🍏🍩💜

A realistic, sustainable approach for women who are tired of knowing how to lose weight... but can't seem to figure out how to keep it off.

If you're reading this thinking, “Yep. That's me.”

Hit follow.

I'm here to help you build a healthier lifestyle you can actually maintain.

You kept your commitments that morning.

You answered the email.
Packed the lunches.
Got everyone where they needed to be.
And even made it to work on time.

But because your workout didn’t happen, you told yourself you had no discipline.

You clearly know how to follow through.

But when life gets busy, the commitments you make to yourself are often the first ones you decide can wait.

💾 Save this for the next time you’re tempted to call yourself undisciplined 💜

After losing more than 100 pounds, people always ask me how I did it.

"Balanced nutrition and intentional movement" is my typical response.

But if I'm being completely honest...
I can’t give all the credit to my diet or my workout routine.

👉🏾 The REAL game-changer was shifting my mindset 🧠

For years, I gave my best to everyone else and left nothing for myself.

I thought pouring into others was noble… until it left me empty.

Then God showed me that caring for myself wasn’t selfish… it was stewardship!

That understanding changed more than my habits.
It changed how I showed up for myself.

I stopped putting myself last.
I stopped waiting for the “right time.”
I learned how to take care of myself in the midst of my hectic life.

And that became a HUGE part of not only losing the weight... but learning how to keep showing up for myself after I did.

If my story sounds familiar, maybe it’s time to put yourself back on your own list. 💜

I asked people to finish one sentence:
“Healthy eating is ____________.”

And the answers were ALL over the place. 😂

Expensive.
Essential.
Stressful.
And everything in between.

Which honestly makes sense.

We all bring our own experiences, beliefs, frustrations, and expectations to what “healthy eating” is supposed to look like.

And sometimes, those beliefs have a lot to do with how easy (or hard) it feels to actually eat that way.

So now I want to hear from you:
Healthy eating is ____________.

💬 Fill in the blank in the comments.
