I see a theme here....

I met Steve and Rene when our sons played football together. We've cooked a lot of meals together, watched a lot of football, and nursed our kids injuries at different times. Steve is a career fireman and asked if I would make him a quilt of all of his tee shirts. It was an honor to get to make this quilt for my dear friends. I hope it brings you many years of coziness!

What about a pillow instead of a quilt? These were extras from a recent memorial quilt. Super cute!

Six quilts in the works! Three t-shirt quilts and three memory quilts. Now that I am all unpacked and organized I am ready to get busy! 🙂

The last project in 2019 was a special one. She wanted me to make two quilts out of her fathers polo shirts. She gave one to each sister for Christmas. I had enough fabric left to surprise her with a pillow of her own.

Oh, just me waiting until the last minute to get stuff done. Three Christmas quilts going out this week!

I get asked to make quilts out of all kinds of things. Tee shirts, polos, baby clothes, jerseys, ties, photos, you name it. This is a first for me, making a baby blanket out of a wedding dress. First, the destruction of the dress and removal of the beads and lace. Kinda like demo day!
