Green Mountain Baseball Assoc. The Green Mountain Baseball Association is an age 35+ wooden bat baseball league located in Northern Vermont.

Sunday's Championship Game Matchup is between the #1 seed South Burlington Rumble Ponies and the #2 seed Lake Monsters.

Game is at 10am at Colchester High School.

Another thrilling finish to the second semi-final game last night. The postponed matchup between the Valley Ballers and Lake Monsters was played last night, under the lights at Maple Street Park in Essex Junction.

The Valley Ballers took an early lead on LM and added to it taking a 3-0 advantage. LM fought back to tie the game 3-3 and was able to walk it off in the bottom of the 9th inning to claim the 4-3 victory.

The Champipnship Game is scheduled for this Sunday the 20th at 10am at Colchester High School. The #1 seed South Burlington Rumble Ponies will host the #2 seed Lake Monsters in the final game of the 2026 season.

The postponed Semi-final matchup between The Valley Ballers and the Lake Monsters will take place Tuesday, September 15th, at 6pm at Maple Street Park in Essex Junction for our first night game of the season.

One of today's semi-final games was postponed, but two teams did manage to play today, and ONE moved on to next week's championship game.

Valley at the Lake Monsters was postponed to sometime later this week (details to follow). Essex and South Burlington had a battle at Veterans Memorial Park on Dorset Street.

South Burlington got out to an early 3-0 lead, but Essex fought back to take a 4-3 lead and then extend that lead to 6-3 going into the bottom of the 9th inning. South Burlington led the inning off with a single and a walk before registering an out. The next 3 batters got base hits; SB's 3 hitter walked to load the bases again, and then an RBI groundout pushed the final run across to win the game in walk-off fashion, 7-6.

Here are the semi-final matchups for Sunday September 13th.

The #2 seed Lake Monsters will host the #6 seed Valley Ballers at Airport Park in Colchester at 10am.

The #1 seed South Burlington Rumble Ponies will host the #4 seed Essex Bombers at Dorset Park in South Burlington. That game will also begin at 10am.

The winners of each game will face off for the 2026 Championship on September 20th at Colchester High School.

The entire Green Mountain Baseball Association will have a bye week this week due to the holiday weekend. The playoffs will resume Sunday September 13th with the Semi-Final matchups.

The first round of the 2026 playoffs are in the books. Here are the scores from today.

The 2nd seed Lake Monsters beat the 7 seed Green Mountain Boys 16-0 in 7 innings.

The 3 seed St Albans Blockers lost to the 6 seed Valley Ballers 9-5.

The 4 seed Essex Bombers beat the 5 seed Gaston Reds 14-0.

Here are the matchups for Sunday, August 30th. The first week of the playoffs.

The Lake Monsters will host the Green Mountain Boys at Airport Park in Colchester at 10am.

The Valley Ballers will travel to Collins Perley Field in St. Albans to play the host team, the Blockers, at 10am.

The Essex Bombers will get the home-field advantage at Maple Street Park in Essex Junction when they host the Gaston Reds at 10am.

The South Burlington Rumble Ponies finished their season undefeated and in first place, so they will get a first-round bye and a trip to the semi-finals.

Scores from Sunday August 23rd

The Lake Monster won their final game of the season over Valley by a score of 3-1.

St Albans and the Reds played a doubleheader.

The Reds won the first game 9-8. St. Albans won the second game 14-3.

South Burlington and Essex also played a doubleheader.

SBRP won the first game 8-2 and won the second game 3-2.

Green Mountain had the bye week.

Game Schedule for Sunday, August 23rd.

Well folks. Sunday is the final day of the regular season. With teams still fighting for playoff position, Sunday should be a great day for baseball. Come to the ballpark and check out some amazing games.

The Valley Ballers will travel to Colchester to take on the Lake Monsters at Airport Park at 10am.

The St. Albans Blockers make the trip south on I-89 to The Pit in South Burlington to play a doubleheader against the Gaston Reds. First pitch of the first game is at 9am.

The Essex Bombers will play host to the South Burlington Rumble Ponies at Maple Street Park in Essex Junction for another doubleheader. First pitch of the first game is scheduled for 9am.

Lots of action for the final week. If you have made it to a game or two or 10 this season, we want to thank you for your support. This league is a lot of fun, and we definitely appreciate all of the fans who make the trip to support their favorite players and/or teams.
