The New England Volkswalk page has been created with the aim of promoting Volkswalking and the Volks Learn more about us at AVA.org. --CLA
Volkssporting, or volkswalking, is the term used for those who walk with the American Volkssport Association. Originally, we used the German "Volksmarch", or people's march, to describe our traditional community walks of 5k and 10k in length, which are weekend events held in communities all over the country. We still hold them, although now we have Americanized the term, partially, to "volkswalk".
