🚸 New Traffic Changes Near Schools Now in Effect 🛑

The Marshall Police Department is letting drivers know about new traffic pattern changes near local schools, aimed at improving safety and reducing congestion. These updates were made by the Marshall City Council and are now active, with all signs and roadway markings in place.

Here’s what’s changed:
🛑 Sanford St. & W. Emory St. – Now a 4-way stop
🛑 St. Francis St. & Meadow St. – Now a 4-way stop
🛑 Hollis Taylor St. – Now one-way westbound from Meadow St. to Washington Ave.

These changes are meant to protect students, ease traffic flow, and prevent accidents in busy school zones. Officers will begin issuing citations immediately to help keep everyone safe.

“We want drivers to be aware of these changes before school starts,” said Chief Cliff Carruth. “These updates are all about community safety, especially for our children.”
