Our Middle School Team Varsity brought the Game Day energy this weekend, with Game Day Captains Emilia + Merida leading the crew! ⭐️

And when the final whistle blew?
AN ANTLER WIN. ❤️🖤🏈

Another Sunday of showing up for their team, their teammates and their community—and looking pretty good doing it. 😉📣

For a second year in a row, our August Cheerleader of the Month is sophomore Hannah Dahlberg!

On top of the demanding month asked of our team with fundraising, school tradition + community needs, Hannah met with teammates outside of practice hours, organized the abandoned sports’ gear/prop closet + made a long DCWC day at Waterloo Days longer by first winning its race’s women’s division! She is giving of her spirit in all ways whether or not the task is within her wheelhouse—Hannah rises to the occasion like promoting our clinic online with virtual graphics, crafting sport schedule posters, selling boatloads of popcorn + representing DCWC on the HS’ Student Athlete Leadership Team.

Hannah achieves, motivates + gives of her time while holding herself to high expectations as an athlete, student + overall contributor to the DC West community. Our August would not have been the success it was without her (+ her family)!

📣❤️ TEAM VARSITY — GAME DAY #1!

Our middle school athletes officially hit the sidelines today, cheering on the Antlers—and Game Day looked GOOD on them. ❤️🖤

It was HOT, our crew was small but mighty, and these girls kept showing up, cheering and giving us plenty to celebrate. ⭐️

And can we talk about the VILLAGE?! Parents jumped right in—making signs, adding glitter, face tats and eye black, and making sure these girls felt ALL the Game Day love.

Tunnel walks. Poms up. Sideline cheers. Team bonding. This is what Game Day is all about.

Our cheerleaders show up for their teams.

Put it all together? THIS is Game Day.

Today our K–5 Game Day Teams took over the sidelines! ⚡️

❤️ Junior Antlers + Junior Storm brought the spirit to Elkhorn High
💙 Mini Storm lit it up at Elkhorn South
🩵 Junior Wolves brought that Elkhorn North energy to Central

Tunnel runs. Signs. Halftime routines. Team bonding. BIG sideline energy. And did we mention these athletes are KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE?! 🤯🔥

Game Day #1 and they SHOWED UP.

This is community. This is team. This is EAA Cheer. ❤️💙📣
