Update on Doggie Paddle Days:

For many years, Doggie Paddle Days have been a fun and much-loved way to close out the summer season at Pelican Bay Aquatic Center. We know how much our community, and especially our four-legged guests, have enjoyed this tradition.

As part of the recent improvements to Pelican Bay, the facility now features a new Myrtha pool liner.

While this new system represents an important investment in the quality and longevity of the facility, the liner material is not designed to withstand the potential impact of dogs’ claws. Allowing dogs into the pool could result in punctures, tears, or other damage to the new surface.

Because of this, Pelican Bay will no longer be able to host Doggie Paddle Days in the pool.

We recognize that this will be disappointing for those who have made the event part of their end-of-summer tradition. This was not a decision made lightly, but protecting the community’s investment in the renovated facility and ensuring the pool remains in excellent condition for years to come must be our priority.

We appreciate the community’s understanding and support as we continue to care for and improve Pelican Bay Aquatic Center.

Calling all little swimmers! Tot Tuesdays are making a splash at Pelican Bay! 🐣💦

Join us Tuesdays, August 11, 18 & 25 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM for a morning made just for our tiniest guests. It's shallow play only, with the splash pad and zero-entry pool open for gentle, easygoing fun.

Designed with tots ages 0 to 5 in mind, and big brothers and sisters are always welcome to splash along too!

💲 Just $2 per person

Summer sure has a way of slipping by, doesn't it? ☀️

Friday, August 7 will be our last weekday of the season here at Pelican Bay. Between the sunny afternoons, the poolside laughs, and all the memories made, it's been a good one.

If you can, come spend one more lazy weekday with us before it winds down. There's still time to soak up the sunshine, cool off, and make a few more memories together.

And don't worry, this isn't goodbye. Starting Saturday, August 8, you'll find us open weekends, 11 AM to 6 PM. 🌊

Meet us at Pelican Bay tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5 for Finding Nemo on the big screen, right over the water. 🐠

🎫 Non-passholders: $8 per person
🎟️ No pre-registration needed. Grab tickets at the gate on your way in!

🌊Lifeguard of the Week 🌊

Congratulations to our Lifeguard of the Week, Cooper (“Big Red”)! 🎉

Cooper is a valued member of the Pelican Bay team and is always willing to step up wherever he’s needed. In addition to helping keep our guests safe while he is on duty, he teaches our preschool swim lessons, helping some of our youngest swimmers build confidence in the water. Outside of work, Cooper enjoys playing baseball.

Thank you, Cooper, for your hard work, positive attitude, and dedication to our team. We appreciate everything you do! Keep up the great work! 💙☀️
