Cleats, gloves, helmets, bats, if your Hornet has outgrown it, another Edina athlete can use it. Every donation keeps kids in the game.

Softball is so much more than a sport.

The skills your athlete builds on the field go far beyond the game. They’ll learn how to handle pressure, trust their teammates, bounce back from a tough inning, and show up for others when it counts. Those are life skills.

At EGFA, we believe every student deserves the chance to discover what they’re capable of.

EGFA welcomes players ages 6U–14U at every skill level. Whether they’ve never picked up a glove or have been playing for years, there’s a place for her here.

12U C Travel Team - Head Coach

Games are Sundays from August to September.

No prior coaching experience required. EGFA provides training and practice plans so you are not walking in cold. Stipends are available for some positions.

Parents, alumni, and EHS players are all encouraged to apply. If someone comes to mind, please forward this to them.

EGFA has spots open at 8U, 10U, and 12U. Head coach, assistant, and practice coach roles. Pitchers and catchers, we especially want you at 10U Travel.

Stipends are available for some positions. You'd be working with players who are just figuring the game out, and you already know more than you think you do.

It also looks good on a college application, and helps you build real leadership skills.

EGFA is looking for head and assistant coaches!

No coaching experience required. We provide training, practice plans, and support.

Parents, high school players, former athletes: if you know the game, we want you on the field.

Make-up travel tryouts are this Monday, July 27 from 5:30–7:30 PM at Pamela Park! 🥎 Please plan to arrive a little early for check-in.

Check-In Times:
10U & 12U Players: Check in by 5:00 PM
8U Players: Check in by 6:00 PM

Location: Pamela Park, Fields 1, 2 & 3

Drop-off at the upper parking lot. Volunteers will be there to welcome players and direct them to check-in.

Players should bring: glove, bat, batting helmet, fielding face mask, cleats, water bottle, and athletic clothing. Catchers, bring personal gear if you have it. We will also have catching gear available.
