6 things Iâve learned in 6 months of pregnancy đ€
1. The gym has become so much more than just working out.
Iâve learned to listen to my body, slow down when I need to, and appreciate everything itâs capable of. Staying active during pregnancy has made me feel strong, confident, and even more connected to my changing body. đ«¶đ»
2. Every pregnancy is SO different.
I stopped comparing my bump, my weight, my energy levels, and my experience to everyone elseâs. There really is no âperfectâ way to be pregnant.
3. Moving my body has become something I do for my mind, not just my body.
Some days I have a great workout, other days just showing up is enough. Iâve learned that consistency can look different in every season.
4. Rest is productive too.
This one has been hard for me. đ Iâm learning that slowing down doesnât mean Iâm being lazy. My body is literally growing a whole human.
5. Nothing prepares you for feeling your baby move.
Those little kicks somehow make everything feel real. No matter what kind of day Iâm having, feeling her move instantly reminds me how lucky I am. đ„čđ
6. You can love pregnancy and still admit that itâs hard.
You can be grateful AND tired. Excited AND overwhelmed. Confident one day and emotional the next. All of those feelings can exist at the same time.
6 months down, and somehow I feel like Iâve already learned so much about my body, my mindset, and myself. đ€
Mamas, whatâs one thing pregnancy taught you that nobody warned you about? đđŒ
