One prep session can become a week of balanced, satisfying meals 💚
I love keeping a variety of fresh, prepped ingredients on hand because it makes building a nourishing meal feel simple, even on the busiest days.
Healthy eating doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with a little preparation 🥗

Sometimes “getting back on track” sounds simple until you actually have to do it.
That’s why I created the Build Your Bowl® 7-Day Reset.
It’s not a detox.
It’s not a strict diet.
And it’s not about trying to be perfect for seven days.
It’s a simple, practical guide to help you build balanced meals, simplify meal prep, and feel more confident about what to eat next.
Inside, you’ll find easy-to-follow bowl recipes, a coordinated grocery list, and a flexible framework you can keep using long after the seven days are over.
If your eating has felt a little off lately, this is a gentle place to begin again.
The Build Your Bowl® 7-Day Reset is now available. Link is in the comments.
Every bowl is another opportunity 🥗
A simple way to add a little color and refreshment to your holiday 🇺🇸
Wishing you a safe, joyful and well-hydrated Fourth of July 💙🤍❤️
This bowl isn't about making the holiday healthier 🇺🇸
It's about bringing something nourishing to the table while fully enjoying the celebration.
That's what Build Your Bowl® means to me.
Enjoy the holiday.
And when it's over...
Build another bowl 🥗

Happy July!
It's a new month. A new quarter. And it's been a while.
Over the past month, I stepped away from social media. It wasn't planned, but looking back, I think I needed it.
Life has been asking more of me lately. My days have been centered around my family, working behind the scenes, and simply trying to be fully present in this season of life. Sometimes the best thing you can do is step away from the noise long enough to reconnect with what matters most.
While I was away, I found myself coming back to the same idea I've been teaching for years: Build Your Bowl®.
Most people know it as the title of my cookbook. For me, it's much more than that. It's the framework I return to whenever life feels busy, stressful, or out of balance.
It reminds me that healthy living isn't about getting everything right. It's about making one mindful decision at a time and trusting that those decisions add up over time.
That's what this bowl represents.
A balanced meal.
A moment to pause.
Another opportunity to nourish myself and keep moving forward.
As I'm settling back in, you'll still see plenty of bowls, recipes, meal prep ideas, and practical nutrition. But I also want to share more of the thinking behind what I teach and why it has become the foundation of my own approach to healthy eating.
Life gets messy. Healthy eating doesn't have to.
I'm glad to be back 💚
What's one habit or routine that helps you find your way back when life feels overwhelming?

One of the biggest misconceptions about healthy eating is that it has to be complicated.
It doesn't.
Most nights, I'm not creating elaborate recipes or spending hours in the kitchen. I'm taking ingredients I enjoy, combining them in a way that feels satisfying, and moving on with my evening.
That's why I love bowls like this one.
Inspired by my Kale Caesar from The Build Your Bowl Salad Cookbook, it's a reminder that the meals we come back to most often are usually the simplest.
And on a busy Monday night, simple is more than enough 🥗
A lot of you asked about the Greek yogurt whip from my fruit salad post 😊
Save this video for a light, creamy, refreshing dip that adds a little protein, healthy fat and staying power to fresh fruit 🍓
One of my favorite things about this time of year is all the fresh fruit 🍓
And while I love fruit on its own, one of the simplest ways to make it more satisfying is to pair it with a source of protein and healthy fats 🍇
For me, that often looks like a homemade Greek yogurt whip alongside a colorful mix of seasonal fruit 🍉
Simple. Refreshing. And one of my favorite ways to welcome summer 🫐
When I’m asked to bring a bowl to the cookout…this is the one 🥗
My signature bowl. Every time.
Fresh, flavorful, and it never misses 😉

Memorial Day weekend is officially here 😊
For most of us, that means good food, good company, and a table full of favorites.
And it should.
But what I’ve learned over time is this—balance isn’t about choosing between what you love and what supports you. It’s about making space for both.
This Watermelon & Roasted Beet Salad is one of those bowls that just fits—fresh, vibrant, a little unexpected, and perfect alongside everything else on your plate 🍉
It’s from The Build Your Bowl Salad Cookbook, but more than anything, it’s a reminder:
You don’t have to overhaul your weekend. You don’t have to miss out. Just build around it.
That’s where the shift happens 🥗
