Recap and solutions.
We celebrate the wins, but also respect and reflect the losses!!
We had our first game of the season over the weekend, it was a very humbling and emotional result. Obviously not how we wanted to start, but along the way I saw grit, determination, commitment, passion, and competitive spirits for each other. We should never hide from our losses as they are an important part of how we learn to grow and get better ❤️🩹
First year in an 11 v 11 ⚽️ format, big field 🏟️, playing a little bit of older players. We are finding our way, we are learning, and we are honoring the game regardless of the outcome. We must reflect 🤔 and understand where we need to improve and work to help the team stay tuned in and remain competitive. The learning 📝 should never ever stop. Wins will come, losses will show up… but the dedication and sacrifices I make for this team will stay positive and continue to increase. It is the only way I know how to coach.
