You may know Brooke Mitchell as the one with a camera in her hand around our URSA events—but this year, she’s also the sponsor of our Novice Division Saddle, so we thought it was time you got to know a little more about the woman behind the lens.
Brooke wears a lot of hats—and usually a cowboy hat is somewhere in the mix.
She’s a Realtor and the woman behind Majestic Canyon Properties specializing in horse properties, ranches and mountain real estate. She’s a photographer, capturing the western lifestyle she’s very much a part of herself. Alongside her husband Mike, she’s part of Majestic Canyon Creations , their general contracting business, and through Canyon Collective, she brings together her love for silversmithing, fly fishing, yoga and all things western.
And when she’s not working, creating or behind the camera, you’ll probably find her horseback. Brooke rides, competes, raises horses, supports rodeo and is proud to be part of the URSA community herself.
That’s what made sponsoring the Novice Division such a natural fit. Every rider starts somewhere, and Brooke wanted the riders building their confidence and skills to have something pretty special to ride for—a SADDLE!
