We went 0-2 on the weekend but Boone did great on both tracks. I believe we will be getting trail cam pics of both deer by mid October. Congrats to all of the successful hunters this weekend!!!

Tomorrow we kick off the season with the Youth hunt. We will be tracking free of charge as usual.

Remember with the heat, I know a lot of hunters are gonna be worried about the meat going bad if they do end up putting a poor shot on the deer or are struggling with the trail.  That clock doesn’t start ticking until the deer fully expires so give the deer the recommended wait time depending on the shot before tracking or calling in a dog.
