SKYNET COMBAT ARCHIVES // MODERN WARFARE, 2023
Cheshire Park looked peaceful until the sky started answering back. Somewhere above the smoke and rooftops, an AC-130 banked into position, its weapons crew watching the streets through a thermal display. Down below, Teklord’s team pushed through the park as the radio cracked: “Gunship overhead.” The neighborhood shook. Windows flashed. Every enemy sprint across open ground became a very questionable life decision. Welcome to the Cyber Lounge, compas—tonight we brought upstairs security. 💀✈️
Then came Operation Crash. That helicopter wreck in the middle of town was only the beginning. UAV sweeps hunted movement across the rooftops, incoming strikes swallowed the streets, and the warning calls barely finished before another killstreak entered the fight. We moved between battered buildings while the sky worked overtime. Somewhere in that chaos, somebody still thought climbing onto a roof was a good idea. Ándale, compa… SKYNET appreciates your cooperation. 😂
A classic session from 2023, pulled from Teklord’s Gaming Cyber Lounge combat archives. Before the Hades dimensional rift, before the signal reached Mars, there were boots on the ground and a gunship circling overhead. This is where those war stories began.

Before I built a Cyber Lounge, I was already living between worlds. Menominee, born in Wisconsin, with roots in Chihuahua and a working life on Denver’s night shift. The monte and the monitor. Northern Mexican humor and a head full of impossible futures. All of it comes with me when I sit down to create.

Some of that imagination starts on the roads through Boulder. An owl’s silhouette passes over the nighttime road lighting, then settles farther ahead on a light. When I drive by, I greet it. “Qué onda, compa. You working the graveyard too?” Sometimes rabbits come near the roadside and pause there watching. Those little encounters stay with me after the deliveries are finished.

In my lore, that stretch of road becomes the first watch station. The owl moves ahead of Teklord’s truck, landing beneath the next light as if checking the route. The rabbits become quiet witnesses at the edge of the illuminated world. Nothing announces a mission. For a few seconds, there is only the engine, the road, and a familiar silhouette waiting ahead. Later, when the same owl appears in the Cyber Lounge overlay, the audience has somewhere to remember it from.

That’s how I build: something ordinary catches my attention, and imagination gives it another life. The roadside owl becomes a sentinel. Ciphertron comes online. A repurposed Terminator keeps guard while the Aether Wraith hangs above a gateway it probably shouldn’t enter. Hades waits on the other side. The wildlife belongs to the night; the mission belongs to the story I make from it.

Behind that story is a guy who still has to finish his route. Most nights, I’m driving and unloading while the city sleeps. Afterward, I give what energy I have left to Teklord’s Gaming Cyber Lounge. Three computers, capture cards, tangled ideas, and technical knowledge earned one stubborn problem at a time. Some mornings, a scene finally looks how I imagined it. Other mornings, Skynet apparently controls the future but can’t get my fu***ng audio to the right output.

My Menominee heritage and Chihuahua roots give me more to explore as I learn and create. Family, place, community, work, and the question of what you leave behind. I bring those concerns into my art in my own voice. I’m still learning about where I come from while figuring out what I can build from here.

Making convincing scenes also gets me thinking about everything else coming through a screen. All day, somebody is selling certainty. Once you’ve built your own dramatic overlays, you start noticing the music, the framing, and the missing context. I love a good story. I’m learning to ask what supports it before carrying it around as truth.

And I want other creators in this process. If you stream, edit, make OBS art, or have a capture-card setup held together by determination and one suspicious HDMI cable, pull up a chair. Show me what you’ve figured out. Show me what you’re still fighting with. Let’s experiment with scenes, exchange ideas, play together, and feature each other’s gameplay—with permission, proper credit, and links back to the creator.

I’m building an audience and looking for people to build with. You might come into the Lounge for a match and leave with an idea for your own channel. I might learn something from you that changes my next stream. That’s worth making room for.

Find me on Twitch as teklordrulis76 and on YouTube at Teklord’s Gaming Cyber Lounge. Follow, subscribe, and introduce yourself. What do you play? What are you making? What should we try together?

Menominee pride. Raíces de Chihuahua. Imagination working overtime.

The owl has the next light. I’ve got the next delivery. Ciphertron, get the Lounge ready—we’ve got company coming.

WHAT YOU’RE SEEING

This isn’t just a Call of Duty screen with a loud border around it. This is the visual language of Teklord CYBR: a commander moving forward through the match while a guardian system watches the angles, the data, and the rear flank.

The lower-right crest is the ATHENA REAR-GUARD SENTINEL. Its winged shapes carry the look of an owl and dragon guardian—symbols of awareness, protection, power, and survival. The center is the watchful sensor core: the system’s eye, always scanning while the commander stays focused on the mission ahead.

The message is simple: Commander forward. System watches the six.

The Iron Revenant mark represents the hard machine side of the network—combat, endurance, recovery, and the fight through chaos. Athena is the counterweight: strategy, warning, intelligence, and protection. Together they make the Teklord CYBR system more than a gaming overlay. It is a tactical identity built around one rule:

PROTECTION • AWARENESS • SURVIVAL

**Teklord’s view.**

I sit in a room full of screens for a living. That’s the honest part. Consoles. Feeds. Maps. Scores. Code that used to be a game and now looks a lot like a briefing. People walk into a lounge to escape the world. Lately the world keeps walking in with them.

This image isn’t prophecy as costume. It’s a question with teeth.

We got fast. Faster than our character. Nuclear fire we already built. Cameras that never blink. IDs that follow a face through a city. Labs that can rewrite flesh. Machines that can choose a target without a man in the loop having to feel it. Every one of those tools can save a life. Every one of them can end a street. Same intelligence. Different altar. We’ve been here before in smaller rooms. The rooms got bigger.

Jesus didn’t say that so we’d tattoo it and keep scrolling. “Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved.” That’s not a movie line. That’s a warning about a species that learns how to end itself before it learns how to stop. And Mark sits on the other side of the same coin: you can win the whole map and still lose the only thing that made winning matter.

I keep coming back to the family at the bottom. Not the mushroom cloud. Not the red-eyed helmets. The people walking toward a skyline that might still be a home. That’s the part gaming never quite prepares you for. In a game, you respawn. Out here, flesh is the whole save file.

So here’s Teklord’s thought, plain:

Power without wisdom is just a prettier way to dig a grave.
Tech without a soul is just a more efficient way to forget we had one.
And if our ability to destroy keeps lapping our ability to restrain, we won’t need an enemy. We’ll finish the job ourselves and call it progress.

I don’t make these pictures to scare kids out of the lounge. I make them because the lounge is where a lot of us first learned systems, strategy, and consequence with the volume turned down. Volume’s up now. The question on the poster is the one I want over the door:

Are we becoming powerful enough to destroy ourselves?

If the answer is yes, then wisdom isn’t optional DLC.
It’s the only patch that matters.

Before all flesh is destroyed, somebody has to remember what flesh was for.
