Fargo 2026 is officially in the books.

Makayla’s first trip to Fargo didn’t end the way we hoped, but we leave with something just as valuable, experience.

She battled, earned a win, and got to compete against some of the best girls in the country. This tournament showed us exactly where the next level is. It exposed areas where she can continue to grow, and that’s exactly what competition at this level is supposed to do. Sometimes the biggest lessons don’t come from winning. They come from being challenged.

As a family, we are incredibly grateful for this opportunity.

Thank you to every coach, teammate, training partner, friend, family member, and supporter who encouraged Makayla before and during this trip. Thank you to everyone who sent messages, prayers, videos, and words of encouragement. It truly means more than you know.

We also want to thank everyone who has invested their time, energy, and belief in her journey. We don’t take any of it for granted.

Now it’s time to get back in the room, make the necessary adjustments, and keep growing. This is only the beginning.
