We recently acquired this AED and would love to put it back into service somewhere it can make a difference. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ’” Remembering Dolly Parton | 1946โ€“2026

Today, the world lost an incredible entertainer, philanthropist, and one-of-a-kind human being with the passing of Dolly Parton at age 80.

At Northern Illinois CPR and First Aid, there is one small connection to Dolly that we thought was especially fitting to share today.

Her legendary song โ€œJoleneโ€ has long been recognized as having the right beat for Hands-Only CPR โ€” falling within the recommended 100โ€“120 compressions per minute.

That means a song Dolly gave the world more than 50 years ago has even found a place in teaching people a rhythm that can help save a life.

Dolly spent her life bringing joy to millions, helping others, supporting children and families, and leaving this world better than she found it.

Today, we'll remember an incredible woman โ€” and maybe play โ€œJoleneโ€ just a little louder.

Rest in peace, Dolly. โค๏ธ
