Us girls snuck away and racked on some miles at the Ride for Heroes in Iola today. Butterscotch and Hershey did phenomenal! Machinery, bridges, road riding, some steep areas in the woods, multiple other horses/riders- nothing phased either of them. Arizona and I swapped out after a while and the consensus is, they both are awesome 🤩

I’ll say it every time, we always have such a great time at Ukarydee!! So glad to have made this our Memorial/Labor Day tradition. Took some of our tried and true mounts, along with some new-to-camping horses and we couldn’t be happier with how the weekend went. We racked on some miles, played in the water, relaxed by the campsite- it was overall such a phenomenal time and such a good way to expose some of the new stock. Typically David ends up having to stay behind with the littles on most of the rides, but now Joshy is to the point he can handle some miles, and I’ll tell you what- he narrated our entire ride each time! I never knew how many different animals lived in the forest or that there were so many “fox homes” to be seen 🤣 it was really awesome sharing this with the whole family 💗

Sweetie Pie

Sweetie Pie is a 6 year old sorrel mare standing 14.1hh. We bought her off a friend of ours in Indiana who used her for roping cattle as part of the Indiana Cow Catchers.

We’ve had fun riding this cute little gal around the farm and hauling her to the state parks. I’ve had youth riding her on the trails and she carried along easily.

We brought Sweetie Pie along to use at a therapy event for autistic children. Everyone loved taking their turn riding on Sweetie Pie! She’s the perfect size and her sweet demeanor made all the kiddos feel comfortable and safe.

She has nice smooth gaits and picks up the trot and lope with ease. I could see a confident kiddo really enjoying her and excelling at the play days! She has a great set of brakes on her and is ready to go whichever direction you take her!

Currently barefoot. Located Pickett, Wi. Hauling available. 7,🥕🥕🥕
