Warrior Nation…

Our 3rd annual Battlefield Blitz was a huge success. First and foremost we want to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Many prayers were prayed and all were answered in some form or fashion. Even those we did not know to petition for.

We want to thank our volunteers and our sponsors. We cannot do this without you!!

One of many answered prayers was the blessing of great running weather.

And, to all of our athletes…. Your hard work and dedication shines bright…. The Battlefield Blitz is one of the toughest courses you will run all season. It’s good to do hard things. Be Proud of yourself!! Keep working. The season is only half way through.

DCA is back on the floor tonight as the Warriors host Southwestern. Tip is at 6:00 PM JV and 7:00PM in the DCA gym. Come out support Girls JV & Varsity volleyball!

Middle School Volleyball opened the season tonight with a strong game against St. Peter & Paul. The work they’ve been putting in at practice showed from the first serve to the last point. Coach Emily Wright has this group focused and growing every day!

The DCA Battlefield Blitz is TOMORROW at the Perryville Battlefield! Address is 1825 Battlefield Rd, Perryville, KY 40468.

The first race launches at 9:00 AM, and we’re expecting an incredible morning with over 35 teams from across Kentucky coming to compete at the most historic park in the state. We’ll have music, food trucks, and a full crew of DCA athletes and volunteers making the day special. The DCA Girls Basketball Team will be serving and selling food including Coach Shuey’s famous smoked brisket. Trust us… you don’t want to miss that.

Our DCA Boys Volleyball Team will be on‑site helping with parking, and a huge team of volunteers will be working behind the scenes to make the event run smoothly. And of course our DCA runners will be battling for the iconic cannonball trophy on one of the most challenging courses in Kentucky. Come out, support your Warriors, grab some brisket, and enjoy an awesome day at the Battlefield.

35 Danville Christian Academy Warriors took to the course at Danville High School’s Admiral Stadium for the 21st Annual EG Plummer CC Memorial Invitational. Battling brutal heat with temperatures hitting 91°F and 58% humidity, our runners showed tremendous resilience across every single division!

Highlights

Heart-Pounding 5k Thriller: In the Men's 5k Run, Reuben Deering (10th Grade) engaged in an absolute classic sprint to the finish against Grayson County's Levi Masden. After battling for 3.1 miles in the sweltering heat, Reuben finished in 2nd place in 17:54.78, missing 1st place by just 0.30 seconds

Runaway Victory: Elianna Tudor (5th Grade) had a great day in the Girls 1.8k Run, taking 1st place for the 4th time this year running in 9:20. She ran away from the field, cruising across the finish line with a 18-second lead over the second-place runner!
