Spend your Labor Day with Tennis in Coppell at the Labor Day Tennis Fundraiser, September 7, 9-11:30 a.m. at Coppell High School. This fundraiser supports the CHS Tennis Team in their annual service project with Cans of Love. Cans of Love is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports unhoused people with necessary items such as food, hygiene and first aid.
In December the tennis team will deliver tennis ball cans full of such items and provide a hot meal for 100+ people in the unhoused community. The team will be a part of restoring dignity and hope to individuals by learning how to serve their neighbors.

Coach Alyssa Noonan will direct the morning of tennis and Cans of Love will offer a fun silent auction with airbnbs, tennis racquets, pickle paddles and much more.

Our dear friend and founder of Tennis in Coppell, Gene VanOverschelde, passed away this week. We are ever so grateful for Gene’s vision to have organized recreational tennis play here in our own backyard. Prayers for his family at this time.
