KD Ranch & Performance Horses

I went to Cleburne auction a couple weeks ago with a friend. I know poor decision number one! I saw this poor scared sweet old gelding. He was being ran through as a 8yr old anyone can ride him trustworthy trail horse. He is in fact not 8yrs old! More like 20yrs old!

Snapped some pictures of Jesse as we left to run some errands. She’s looking like a roly poly! She gets so fat when she’s bred. She is 109 days today! I can’t wait to meet this CC Swift Emotion baby🥹💕

I can’t wait for fall to come! This insane heat has taken its toll on so many horses. Swift looks fine but he could look better. Since adding minerals and electrolytes to combat what he loses he has started to look much better. I’m sure he will be much happier when it’s cooler as well! He will be getting a good bath tomorrow. He is so dirty!

Jesse is starting to get her pregnancy body. She gets real chunky when she’s bred. She is 73 days bred today so just over 265 days to go! She is bred to our stallion CC Swift Emotion for a mid April baby🥰💕

Time to get Cutter back in shape if we’re gonna hit the jumper ring this fall! We’re so excited to finally get into jumping with the help of Kaitlin Miller-Roberts! We’re gonna have so much fun playing around🤗

Unfortunately we had to make the call to put Finn down. They diagnosed him with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. It hides very well and usually by the time they starts showing symptoms there’s not much you can do. He was the most precious and sweetest little boy!

I know JJ is up there showing him the ropes and taking wonderful care of him. Until we meet again boys!🥰💕

Prayers for Birdie‘s baby would be greatly appreciated. He’s got a few things going on right now. I had to take him to the emergency vet very early this morning. If you look at his bloodwork, it’s a miracle he’s even standing. Keep fighting sweet boy! You’ve got this!
