"I am a person who brings a healthy dose of skepticism to the world of meditation."
I LOVE a healthy dose of skepticism when it comes to exploring new things. Because when something actually lands for them, it REALLY lands. And watching that happen in the room is another one of my favorite things to witness.
If you're unsure whether this is for you, or whether to bring your partner, listen to Liz & Jeff | Lakeview Farm | Michigan's experience and decide for yourself.
Sacred Sundays Breathwork is for the curious, the doubtful, the quietly hopeful, and yes — absolutely — for the person sitting next to you who needed a little convincing to come.
All are welcome. All genders welcome. All breathing levels are welcome. Bring yourself and your people.
There's still time to join us Bamboo Grand Rapids next Sunday, July 19th, 10am - 2pm.

What does our breathwork feel like? Hear it in Laura's own words...
"It is wild to me that you can do this without drugs and it's just your breath."
This is low-key one of my favorite things to hear from people when they come out of a session! 😌
Every month, someone walks into the room carrying an intention
More peace.
More clarity.
More courage.
More trust.
More connection.
Everyone's experience is different. There isn't a "right" way to breathe or a specific outcome you're meant to have. What matters is creating space to listen to your body and meet yourself with curiosity.
If you've been feeling disconnected from yourself, carrying more than your nervous system can comfortably hold, or simply wondering what breathwork is all about, this is a beautiful place to begin.
Come exactly as you are and join us Bamboo Grand Rapids on Sunday, July 19th, 10am - 2pm
There's something magical about every season that we call this place home.
During spring and summer, it's waking up to various birds singing in the morning - their melody is so pleasant. And makes the heat more tolerable 😅
On my way out this morning, I noticed the sun coming up and had to take this video because what do you mean this is life right now?
Abundance is everywhere, if we look.
So, enjoy this tune from the birds and the gorgeous sun doing its thing!
Safety isn't an afterthought when it comes to how I curate every Sacred Sundays container. It's built into the very first breath because the way you breathe at the beginning of a session determines how you move through the entire journey.
That's why we open every Sacred Sundays with calming breaths — slow, deep counts that bring the nervous system from fight-or-flight into rest-and-digest before anything else happens.
It serves as a tool for participants to modulate their intensity throughout the entire experience. If anything ever feels too intense during the practice, they know they can always return to this same breath to find your way back to calm.
It gives them agency and autonomy to decide how deeply they want to go, and for someone who is new to this, that makes a real difference.
That’s what we are bringing to Bamboo Grand Rapids on Sunday, July 19th. Save your mat in the link above - we'd love to have you 🤎
In a recent catch up conversation with .co, we were looking at her website and I came across my 2024 manifesto inspired by 's poem - I have been a thousand different women.
This one is for the women we have been, and for the ones we are becoming.
I’ve made peace with all the women I have been.
The ones who stayed too long.
The ones who left too soon.
The ones who dimmed her light just to belong.
The ones who burned everything down to begin again.
I’ve laid flowers at their feet,
offered them honey and forgiveness,
and thanked them for surviving in the only ways they knew how.
They were never mistakes —
they were initiations.
Each one carried me closer to the woman I am now.
The temple I sit in today
was built from their bones.
The wisdom I speak
was born from their rivers —
the same rivers that carried me home to myself.
The life I live now is an answered prayer —
one those earlier versions of me dreamed of in whispers.
I have been a thousand different women.
And I honor them all. 🤎
As we enter November, which parts of yourself can you honor?

When Dele first met me on Halloween last year, she wasn’t quite sure who I was or what I did.
Honestly, neither was I — at least, not in the way I could articulate yet.
I just knew I was building something sacred — a movement, a message, a mission — and I needed someone who could see beyond the words.
Over the past year, she has truly seen me.
She’s witnessed my evolution — through seasons of expansion, rest, doubt, and becoming.
And as I look back on the photos and videos she’s captured, I see not just my image…
but my becoming.
She’s captured my joy when things finally clicked.
My softness in moments of surrender.
My fire when vision met action.
My essence — unfiltered, grounded, and alive.
- thank you for being more than a photographer or videographer.
You’ve been a mirror, a witness, and a collaborator in the most sacred sense.
You’ve helped me see myself more clearly — in full color, in motion, in becominghonorse that’s what true artistry does — it doesn’t just capture you; it reveals you.
Here’s to the storytellers, the space holders behind the lens, and the women brave enough to be seen before they fully understand what they’re becoming.
