Swing into Fall 8U Finalist- Athletics Mercado Guerra! 👏🏼🤘🏼

The girls took the field today for their first tournament together as a brand new, first year 8U team and they did not disappoint! They battled up against a couple of tough second year 8U girls and held their own 💪🏼 Defensively the girls looked sharped, and their bats slowly but surely came along to put it on EP Agulias, winning their first bracket game 9-4. They unfortunately came up short in the championship game losing 3-6 against CLTX 2K18.

Regardless of the outcome we’re happy with the amount of effort and hard work these girls having been pouring into their first season of coach pitch and can’t wait for the next tournament!

🖤🤍🙅🏻‍♀️ We want to give a special shout out to three of our pitchers, Lexi #16, Abby #13, & Aria #12 for their incredible performance! All three of them completely shut out the competition in the quarter final, semi final, and the championship games! Of course, they could not have done it without their entire defense making great plays and having their backs! Amazing job, ladies!

Got to work with the older girls this weekend. Great practice. Thank you AM Frausto 2030 your girls are awesome an pushed these girls to be better. This is what softball is about. Way to set a standard for these athletes to chase.
