Lumpkin County Mountain Bike Team

The Lumpkin County mountain bike team competed in White County on Saturday in their first race of the season. In the team competition they finished 4th against 19 other division 1 teams. Top finishers were Mathieu Weber with a 3rd place and Solomon Alhadeff with a 12th place in the top division of Boys Varsity. In JV1 Brewer Dansby-Sparks finished in 12th. In JV2 Michael Burdett and Aaron Ferragamo earned their best finishes in their team career with a 4th and 6th place respectively. The freshman team is stacked deep in talent with Ralston Pink finishing with a very impressive 2nd place, Liam Alhadeff got 8th and Grant Dansby-Sparks came in with a 16th place and Amelia Turk with 8th place in freshman girls.

Our middle school riders had great rides and pushed themselves to do their best! Top finishers were Conleth Gaboardi who received 6th place in 7th grade and Abby Gentry earned 10th place in 8th grade girls. Eli Turk placed 15th and Asher Smith in 20th place in the boys 8th grade division.
