They also had a great showing at the Rocket City tournament this weekend making it to the gold bracket and holding their own against some tough competition!

Is it possible to work hard and play competitive volleyball, yet still have so much fun??

Absolutely! One minute these teams are red-faced and breathing hard during a hard practice (which usually includes some burpees and suicides), and a few minutes later they are back to laughing and cheering each other on!

Playing good volleyball is fun, but watching these friendships develop is even sweeter!

And HUGE shoutout to JV Assistant Coach Abby Maples, who tried out and made our Varsity team but then tore her ACL playing softball. She still wanted to be involved and has stepped up big time as a coach for JV! We hate that you aren’t on the court in the way we all hoped for this season, but we love seeing you on the sideline growing these younger players!

We enjoyed hosting two top homeschool teams, HVA and Evangel, last week for our first home game! The Varsity and JV teams did simultaneous tri-matches with plenty of room to spread out thanks to the Omniplex!

Thank you to all the parents, siblings, and friends who helped pull it off and came to support!
