Friday Night Lights Award Recipients
*Confluence Prep Game*

*Offensive Lineman of the Week*
Gage McPherson led the way in the trenches and organizing a Hornet attack that went on to score 44 points and earning himself Captain Americas Shield!

*Defensive Lineman of the Week*
Elias Millers new level of Enthusiasm and aggressiveness he’s taken his play to has been exactly what the Hornets are looking for and he not only earned the highest D-line grade this week but earned himself a nice piece of bling in the D-Line Chain!

*Special Teams Player of the Week*
Trent Eisenbeis has been an onside machine with his precise and pinpoint kicks causing huge swings in momentum and securing the football and extra possessions for the Hornets and even had a touchdown saving tackle as well proving he’s the Special Teams Player of the Week AGAIN and Worthy to hold Thors Hammer!

*Defensive Player of the Week*
Tristyn Munton has been on a tear and in the running for Defensive MVP every week and if theres one thing the Hornets like to do on Defense it’s not only secure the turnover but SCORE and his late game Pick Six sealed the deal again earning him the Shark Head and Defensive Player of the Week Honors!

*Offensive Player of the Week*
Conner Miller refuses to take a play off when he’s on the field sprinting to everything and when called up this week to carry the rock that didn’t change. A huge effort in the running game, and helping finish off a team and secure the win earns him this weeks Infinity Gauntlet and All Its Stones!

*Work Force Player of the Week*
Brennan Smith is an intelligent and hard working kid who has proved he’s going to show up every day, expects nothing to be handed to him, and earn everything he gets. He not only had a great week of practice but the made the most of his game time in an unforgettable homecoming battle and earned the Championship Belt and became our WorkForce Player of the Week

THIS is what Sports can do….lifelong bonds and friendships and a hometown pride that never fades away 🔥🙌👏

It was an honor to spend time with our 2026 Homecoming Grand Marshalls, Mike Picarella and Jack Voelker. As the oldest living alumni of our 100 years of football celebration, these Hornets played together from 1944-1947 and still remain friends to this day. Once a Hornet teammate, always a Hornet teammate. ❤️🖤

Guest speaker was none other the Crystal City Alumni Ryan Picarella! He talked to the boys about our Leadership Word of the Week Selflessness but even more so about Agape Love!!!! We are ONE TEAM ONE HEARTBEAT 🙏💯❤️🤟

It’s Homecoming Week!!! And we are honored to announce our Grand Marshals for the parade tomorrow! We have the two oldest living football alumni!!!

Both Class of 1948!!!

Come see them tomorrow at the Parade, which begins at CCHS at 1:30 pm and ends at the Eagles.

Then join us for the game at 7:00 pm. King and Queen will be crowned at halftime!!!

Trent Eisenbeis turned in a solid performance protecting his QB and securing Captain Americas Shield!

*Defensive Lineman of the Week*
Charlie Young stepped up when called upon and battled hard to win the D-Line Chain of the week!

*Special Teams Player of the Week*
Tristyn Munton had two big returns on KOR showing he is Worthy to hold Thors Hammer!

*Defensive Player of the Week*
Gage McPherson had a FR and INT earning himself the Shark Head and Defensive Player of the Week Honors!

*Offensive Player of the Week*
Kolton Adams and Alex Parham played a little pitch and catch to duel threat again earning themselves this weeks Infinity Gauntlet and All Its Stones!

Gio Pastrana has really stepped up from last year to this year and earned the Championship Belt and became our WorkForce Player of the Week
