Watching these girls grow from JO athletes into college athletes is what coaching is all about. The countless hours of practices, tournaments, lessons, and hard work have paid off. Our final elite coach that we need to introduce is our returning coach, Coach Webb!💚🏐💙

My name is Melissa Webb, although many if the play know me as "Spidey". I'm excited to be coaching both 16 Elite and a 13s team this season.

Outside of volleyball, I work at Wiley Companies for the past 10 years as a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Coordinator earning auditor qualifications as well as my Six Sigma Black Belt. My husband, Travis and I have been married for 17 years, and our family includes our 2 dogs. Leonard is out 5 year old German shepherd, and Coast is an 8 month old rescue I adopted after seeing him at a Volleyball tournament last year with the 18 Elite team in Cleveland.

We also love welcoming people into our home. Over the years we've hosted five exchange students, although we are taking a break from hosting this school year. When I am not busy in the gym, Travis and I enjoy traveling. We have been on 17 cruises and love taking day trips all over the state of Ohio. More than anything, I enjoy spending time with my family.

I played Volleyball from 7th through 12th grade, but if I am being honest softball was always my first love growing up. Well now I have the love of coaching volleyball.

Three fun facts about me is that I love God and am currently reading through The Bible Recap, a year long plan that take you through the entire Bible, I have an almost embarrassing love for llamas for someone who is nearly 50 and finally I love baking from scratch and am always looking for a reason to make something homemade.

I don't really have a favorite quote or movie quote, but if we were watching a movie from the late '80s or early '90s, there is a good chance I'll be quoting word for word.

What I am most excited about this season is watching these young athletes grow- not only in their volleyball skills, but also in their confidence, teamwork, and love for the game. I hope each player leaves this season believing in themselves a little more, competing with passion, and making memories they will never forget.

I can't wait to get started and have an amazing season with all of you. Let's go KA.

Let's give a warm welcome to Izzy Cutlip!💙🏐💚

Izzy is going to be a freshman this year at Ridgewood High School!

Fun facts:
I love to play volleyball during my free time. I also like to hangout with my friends and family. But I love to have fun and enjoy meeting new people.

Favorite quote: “Don’t give up just because it’s hard. You’re closer than you think.”

What are you looking forward to this season?
I am looking forward to a great season and playing with some new people and just having fun.

Advice:
My advice is to never give up! You have to know you got this and don’t let all of your hard work go to waste!

If I could be in any volleyball position I would choose middle back because middle back is a very fun place to be.

I chose to be elite so I can travel and see new places!

I like to have fun on and off the court but I like to put my full effort into every play.

Let's give a warm welcome to Emmy Heath!💚🏐💙

Emmy is going to be a junior this year at Indian Valley High School!

Fun facts:
I have two middle names
my teammate/friend reese run a banner business together
I love to paint and I just love art in general.

My favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.

This season I am looking forward to playing with a whole new team and making new friends!!

My advice for the littles is never give up, always stay positive, and work hard!

I chose to be an elite because I wanted to push myself to my full potential and play in a competitive atmosphere!
