Are you tired of feeling left out by the fitness industry? 🛑

Most gym programs are built for people who are already in peak shape, have zero injuries, and have hours of free time every day.

My coaching is different. I specialize in slow-motion strength training and nutrition designed specifically for:
👉 People managing old injuries or joint pain
👉 People who haven’t stepped into a gym in years
👉 Busy professionals and parents who are completely short on time

We focus on ultra-efficient, highly controlled movements that build serious strength and protect your body—without taking over your life.

What you see is exactly what you get. 🚫✨

No filters. No makeup. No gym-bro intimidation.

I’m 66 years old, and I show up on this page exactly as I am in real life. Why? Because I think the fitness industry is flooded with unrealistic, heavily edited standards that make regular people feel like giving up.

Real strength training isn't about looking perfect for a camera. It’s about longevity, protecting your joints, overcoming injuries, and feeling energized—even when you have a crazy busy schedule.

That’s why I specialize in slow-motion strength training and practical nutrition. It’s safe, it’s backed by science, and it takes just 20 minutes a week.

💬 If you are ready for a real, honest approach to getting stronger as you age, hit that follow button. Let’s do this together!

Stop rushing your reps. 🛑

If you are throwing weights around using momentum, you are missing out on half your strength gains.

When you slow down the movement—especially the lowering (eccentric) phase—you eliminate momentum. Your chest muscles have to do 100% of the work, 100% of the time.

Try the 7-Second Dumbbell Fly rule on your next chest day:
➡️ 7 seconds to smoothly open wide
➡️ 7 seconds to control the weights back to the top
➡️ Zero resting at the top or bottom

It looks easy on video, but your chest will be shaking by rep 4.

💬 Comment your favorite exercise below, and I’ll reply with exactly how to adapt it to the slow-mo rule!

Part 2 - Google Health app for Fitbit & how it can help you. I am pretty much an expert at this point. Would love to answer any questions. How is everyone liking it so far?

- This is such a great article. This is something I have been struggling with lately. I made a video about it recently & part 2 is coming next week. This comes from the people I did a refresher course in for Nutrition Coaching & they are all about stress & recovery also.

links.precisionnutrition.com Let’s face it: Improving your nutrition and fitness feels nearly impossible without solid sleep, stress, and recovery strategies. That’s why this newsletter is all about “SSR”—helping you (and your clients) build the strongest foundation for success.

Vitamin D, calcium may not be as helpful for strong bones as thought 06/26/2026

Over 50 - you really need to think about this! Weight bearing & strength training exercises are more important than ever for strong bones. Just calcium & vitamin D may not be enough to save you from terrible falls & their aftermath.

Vitamin D, calcium may not be as helpful for strong bones as thought A study published in the journal BMJ suggests that vitamin D and calcium supplements may not offer as much bone protection as once thought, providing little to no meaningful benefit in older adults.
