Happy 10th Birthday to #4️⃣, Randy. We hope you have an awesome day! 🥳⚾️🦈

The Makos enjoyed the sun, scooters, Starbucks and wataching baseball during their weekend off, but are looking forward to taking the diamond tomorrow for their last tournament of the spring season. ⚾️🦈☀️

It was a long and hot weekend for the Makos. Started at 9am today as the #3 seed, won 2 games to earn our place in the championship game. Finished the weekend 3-2 and walked away as the gold bracket runner-up. 🦈⚾️☀️

Happy Birthday to Coach Steve, dad of #2️⃣1️⃣. He’s the man with the plan who had a vision and created the LBC Makos. It’s very fitting that we celebrated on the field tonight. We hope you had a great birthday! 🥳🦈⚾️

This weekend the Makos traveled to Asheville and had a blast. Kicked off the trip with an Asheville Tourists Baseball Club game. These boys know how to pump up a crowd. Saturday morning they headed to D-BAT Asheville, then it was off to the field. They came to compete and played some outstanding baseball. We even snuck in some pool time complete with a belly flop competition. A huge thanks to Drew Davies from the LBC Lightning for joining us this weekend. ⚾️🙌🏻🦈

Happy Birthday to Coach Jason, dad of #4️⃣4️⃣. He led the boys in some strength training during the off season, offers words of encouragement in the dugout and can be found racing the boys around the bases at the end of practice. He’s also our designated transportation coordinator as all boys want to ride with him to our post game hangouts. 🥳🦈⚾️

Today the Makos called Aidan Laidlaw up to the big leagues. At only 7 years old, he suited up and handled it like a champ. He got a hit, a RBI, stole a base and did a great job in the field. The players, coaches and families are super proud of him! 🙌🏻⚾️🦈

Also, a big thanks to Drew and Riley from the LBC Lightning for helping us out this weekend.

Shoutout to the Makos siblings. When the older siblings aren’t on the sidelines cheering, we put them to work keeping the scoreboard or umpiring during a scrimmage. The littles can be found stealing coach Jason’s wagon and always joining in on post-game huddles. ⚾️💙🦈

It was a gorgeous weekend for baseball. The Makos played some of their best defense and finished 3-1 for the weekend. They walked away as the Gold Bracket Runner-up. 🙌🏻⚾️🦈
