We are incredibly honored, humbled, and excited to announce that Jacob has officially been invited to compete in the Kyle Busch Invitational on August 21st, 2026, at the legendary Bowman Gray Stadium!

And this isn’t just any invitation…

⭐ ONLY 18 OF THE TOP BANDOLERO, AND 51 LEGEND CAR DRIVERS, OR PAST NATIONAL CHAMPIONS WERE INVITED!!

To be selected as 1 of just 18 drivers for this special event is something our entire team is extremely proud of. When you look back at all the work, long nights, early mornings, tough races, lessons learned, and countless hours that have gone into this season, moments like this make it all worth it.

For Jacob, this is an opportunity to race on one of the most iconic short tracks in the country, in an event honoring the legacy of Kyle Busch and bringing together some of the best young talent in the sport.

For our team, it’s a chance to represent Jacob Hassey Racing, Race Driven Performance, our incredible sponsors, our families, and every single person who has supported us throughout this journey.

With the Bandolero Nationals at Echo Park rapidly approaching, we knew we needed to get Jacob some valuable track time. Since he’s never raced at Echo Park before, we made the trip down to Atlanta yesterday for some much-needed experience, testing, and R&D for both Jacob and our team cars heading to Nationals.

We honestly went into the day with zero expectations other than learning and have fun. The field was stacked with drivers who have tons of experience at this track, so our goal was simply to get comfortable, learn as much as possible, and gather information for Nationals.

After several rounds of practice, it was time for qualifying — and Jacob absolutely delivered! 🔥

A great day of learning, testing, and building momentum heading into Nationals! Most importantly, we gathered a ton of valuable information that will help us when we return for the big one.

Round 10 and Final Summer Shootout Recap! 🙌🏁

What a way to wrap up the 2026 Summer Shootout season!
We entered the final round just 4 points out of 5th place in the overall championship standings. Jacob qualified 5th, while the driver we were battling for that position started 9th. Our goal was simple: stay clean, stay consistent, and stay ahead.

Unfortunately, the other driver was caught up in a first-lap incident that ended their night early. From that point on, Jacob knew exactly what he had to do. He drove a smart, clean race and brought the car home, securing an incredible Top 5 overall finish in the Summer Shootout standings!

This is a huge accomplishment for Jacob and everyone at Race Driven Performance . As an added bonus this year, the Top 5 overall finishers have earned an invitation to compete in the first Kyle Busch Memorial Race at Bowman Gray—an opportunity we're incredibly excited and honored to have!

The racing season is far from over. We're back in action this weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway, with more road course racing, Bandolero Nationals, and potentially the Road Course Finals in Las Vegas still ahead.
