What are you up to this weekend?

For me...it's another Scout weekend, and I wouldn't have it any other way! We'll be camping at an amazing private lake where we spend the day splashing in the water, laughing, and enjoying the outdoors. But my favorite part is when the sun goes down. The night sky is absolutely incredible, with so many stars you can't help but stop and take it all in. It's one of those places that reminds you to slow down and enjoy the moment. 🏕️

Life gets busy, so today is the perfect excuse to slow down and enjoy a little "me time."

My perfect relaxation day? It may sound simple, but I absolutely love it! I grab some sesame chicken from Red Fortune in Bonner Springs, head home, wrap up in my favorite cozy blanket, curl up on the couch, and turn on a good chick flick. Honestly...I can't think of a better way to recharge!

✏️ First Day of School! ✏️

How is it possible that I have a senior?! 😭

Today we sent off a senior and a sophomore, and I couldn't be more proud of both of them. Watching them grow into the amazing young adults they are becoming has been such a blessing. I am so excited to see what this year brings for them...but I may be crying a little on the inside knowing how quickly this time is flying by.

The first day of school always brings so many emotions—excitement, nerves, and a little bit of "where did the time go?"

Today I'm celebrating the two people who made me a mom and who continue to amaze me every single day.

I truly hit the jackpot with these two. 💙💛

Samantha is a senior, and Thomas is a sophomore. Watching them grow into kind, hardworking, and compassionate young adults has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I couldn't be prouder that they have both earned the rank of Eagle Scout—a reflection of their dedication, perseverance, and character.

No matter where life takes them, they will always be my greatest accomplishments. Thank you both for making me laugh, keeping me humble, and filling my heart with more love than I ever thought possible.
