🏐 CLIPPER VOLLEYBALL VICTORY 🏐

The Columbiana Lady Clippers Varsity Volleyball Team picked up a straight-set victory over Wellsville tonight. The Clippers defeated the Tigers 25-16, 25-18, 25-6 to improve to 13-0 overall and 9-0 in league play.

• Eva Waller – 23 assists, 3 aces, 18 points
• Addisyn Dangler – 7 kills, 1 block

The Columbiana Clipper Middle School Football team picked up a shutout victory over Southern Local at the Ward Athletic Complex. The Clippers defeated the Indians 18-0 to improve to 2-0-1 on the season.

The Columbiana Middle School 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams both picked up victories over West Branch.

The 7th grade team won 25-18, 27-25 to improve to 14-1. Leading the Clippers:

The Columbiana Clipper Boys Golf team finished 2nd at the OHSAA Sectional Tournament today at Salem Hills Golf Course, posting a team score of 343. Individual Scores:

The Lady Clippers hosted Shenandoah in the OVAC Tournament Consolation Game and came away with a 4-0 victory. Josie Hepler scored 3 goals and Aubrie Quetot scored 1 goal. Providing assists were Callahan Ward, Kasey Rice, Kendra Brown. Kyla Hogan had 6 saves in the goal. The win moves the Lady Clippers to 7-3-2 on the season.

The Columbiana Clippers Boys Soccer Team will take on Wheeling Central in the OVAC Boys Soccer Tournament Championship at Wheeling Island Stadium on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 12:30 pm.

Ticket, Parking and Gate Information
Wheeling Island Stadium DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH AT THE GATES. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online BEFORE arriving at the stadium. A QR code will also be available at the gates for fans who need to purchase tickets using their phones. Gate B and Gate C will be open and staffed with ticket takers. Wheeling Downs offers FREE parking — enter through Gate C. Parking Inside the Stadium does have a $5 parking fee — enter through Gate B.

CLIPPER CROSS COUNTRY — SUBURBAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Clippers competed in the Suburban League Championships tonight at the Gorby Cross Country Course at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm.

The Clipper boys team finished 5th out of 18 schools.
Boys Medalists:
• Jace Zelonish — 12th Place
• Eric Hepner — 16th Place

The Clipper girls team finished 8th out of 14 schools.
Girls Medalists:
• Kaitlin Benner — 16th Place

The Columbiana Lady Clippers celebrated Senior Night in style with victories over Lisbon.

The Varsity team defeated the Blue Devils 25-11, 25-10 and 25-23. They improve to1 2-0 overall and 8-0 in the EOAC. Varsity Stat Leaders:
• Landry Smith — 12 kills, 5 aces, 12 points
• Addison Dangler — 10 kills
• Eva Waller — 29 assists
• Keagan Pruitt — 3 kills, 3 aces, 9 digs

The JV Clippers defeated Lisbon 25-13, 25-12 improving to 11-0. JV Stat Leaders:
