Here are the Tour de Columbia races for 2026 (so far) and into 2027! UPDATED 8/23/2026. Several tour races have been added to the schedule! Check out the tour race situation for the Labor Day weekend, it is interesting, in fact, so is the month of September!

Start Time: 5:45pm Meet | 6:00pm Run
Location: Saluda Canal 650 Candi Lane, Columbia (near the Zoo) while there is construction at RFP. Meet at restrooms/water faucet next to main parking lot. (If main parking lot is full, there is another further down, Candi Lane.)

NOTE: See the tour races for Friday Sept. 4, Saturday Sept. 5 and Monday Labor Day Sept. 7 - at first glance you see an opportunity to run three tour races in four days, however if you are fast enough, you can on the Labor Day event, run the 10k at 7 a.m. and the 5k at 8 a.m. This could mean one tour race Friday evening, your choice on Saturday morning (cannot double dip between the Chapin and Friarsgate Park race, 17 minutes' drive time between the two events) and if you are fast enough, two tour events on Labor Day, the 5k and 10k and that is your path to four tour races in three days!
HOWEVER, lets the take the month of September further.... if you are fast enough to run both the LABOR DAY 10k and 5k, you can do NINE tour races in September, if not fast enough, you can still do EIGHT tour races.... think about it on your next run!

Saturday September 12, 2026 - Springdale 5K Run - The grounds of the Historic Springdale Racecourse and National Steeplechase Museum, 200 Knights Hill Road in Camden - Join us on the grounds of the Historic Springdale Racecourse and the National Steeplechase Museum, finishing at the gates of the Carolina and Colonial Cup. This certified and officially timed race welcomes runners and walkers of all levels. Proceeds benefit the Mobile Nutrition Center, a mobile food pantry serving rural Kershaw County, operated by the United Way of Kershaw County.
Participants receive a Springdale 5K shirt, FREE waffles with all the fixings, and lots of enthusiastic volunteers. Dogs on leashes and children in strollers are welcome.

The Irmo Fire High Intensity Team is proud to host its first ever Pump & Run 5k, a unique fitness event that challenges participants to showcase both strength and endurance while supporting a meaningful cause. The event begins with a bench press challenge, where participants will complete as many repetitions as possible using a predetermined percentage of their body weight. Each successful repetition (30 rep maximum) will deduct 30 seconds from their official 5K finish time.
