He needs more speed but he finally tried it!!

I’m super proud of him. We worked on his stance too. We’re trying to make a habit of being on the balls of your feet.

This sunday I had every reason to be away from my family. I could have been in Pueblo racing. I could have been at RAM practicing.

Instead I chose this. And it was absolutely the best choice.

Sometimes the best option isn’t what you planed on.

Being a dad and a husband is the most important role I have.

Friday after work, instead of vegging on the couch like I wanted after a long day, I asked her if she wanted to go outside.

She said “I want to ride my dirtbike!”

Who can say no to that?

Unfortunately for me it’s still hard work because she won’t try to balance herself.

But I don’t mind that. We will get there. It just takes a toll on my back 😂

So of course I take her out back.

For the first 20 or so times up and down the yard I don’t have the camera rolling.

Needing a quick break I decide I should just try filming it because I love watching these things back.

We then proceeded to go up and down the yard running away from our dog “the monster”.

Eventually the dog got tired out and stopped following us.

But she wanted to keep going.

And we did just about to the point it got dark.

I loved every minute of it.

Then the next day we did a similar thing and I tried introducing her to the concept of putting her feet down and trying to balance.

She didn’t like it and didn’t want to do it.

But that’s okay. We will get there. She is still small.

The important thing is having fun with it.

There’s something about new graphics that just make the bike feel like it’s your own.
