But over time, it can quietly become a leadership liability.

When attention is split across messages, meetings, decisions, and constant demands, presence starts to disappear. Leaders may still be showing up physically, but mentally they are fragmented, reactive, and running on fumes.

That is how performance debt builds.

Not all at once. Slowly. Quietly. Until clarity, patience, focus, and connection begin to decline.

Strong leadership is not about answering everything immediately.

It is about having enough internal capacity to be fully present when your thinking, energy, and influence matter most.
