Good morning! I’m Jenn, wife of the owner, and as a female, I want to take some time to address some things we hear a lot. I can’t tell you how many have told us as females, they are uncomfortable going into a gun store. They feel like they are looked at differently or like they are dumb and they don’t feel like they get the same time and attention that is given to male customers. To be clear, we know this happens in a lot of different businesses, not just fi****ms as I have experienced this myself as well. Some ladies have been sold guns simply because they salesperson thought they knew what was best…and sometimes they do, but not always. And, these ladies had no clue how to use their fi***rm. They knew nothing about them at all!
We operate a little differently. We encourage you to come in and hold the pieces we have (all unloaded and are safe). We encourage you to find what you’re comfortable with, not what we think will work for your needs. We want to make sure you leave knowing about your weapon and you have a level of comfort with it because your safety and the safety of others is important. We have a responsibility to not just sell you a gun to make money but to make sure you can use it safely. And we take that responsibility very seriously. While I don’t teach with my husband, I do work along side him to make sure everyone is comfortable. We encourage you, no matter your gender or where you get your gun, to become educated and comfortable with your guns. We’re here to help you with your needs, not just to sell you a gun.
