Art Martinez becomes the third Spartan in program history to receive CSC Academic All-America Honors and the first in 16 years. This honor caps off one of the most illustrious careers both on and off the mat by any Spartan grappler. Good luck to Art as he begins Law School this Fall! 🔵⚔️⚪️

CWRU Wrestling 2025-26 Season Recap - CWRU Athletics The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team completed its best season in more than a decade during the 2025-26 season, sending three members to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Wrestling Championship and placing nationally for the first time in 14 years.

For wrestling, student-athletes who maintained at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average as a sophomore academically and athletically and competed in at least 70 percent of matches with a team score or competed in their weight class at the conference championship were eligible for selection. Schools were limited to six nominations. The men’s at-large teams consist of student-athletes from the following sports: fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling. Martinez will advance to the Academic All-America Men’s At-Large ballot, with three teams of Division III Academic All-Americans released on Wednesday, July 8.

CWRU Athletics Records Fifth-Straight Top-50 Directors’ Cup Finish - CWRU Athletics Case Western Reserve University maintained its standing as one of the top athletic programs in all of Division III, placing 47th among the over 400 member institutions in the final Learfield Directors' Cup standings of the 2025-26 academic year.
