For those who don't know, I was born and raised in Cleveland, Mississippi, and I try to make it back home two or three times a year. One of my favorite sights is the beautiful magnolia tree in full bloom. Its flowers are stunning, and their fragrance is unforgettable. Every time I see and smell them, they remind me of home.

Take a moment to check out this short clip. I hope you enjoy its beauty as much as I do!

The other day, I made a quick run to Home Depot, frustrated over my ongoing battle with rabbits, birds, and chipmunks in my garden. As I was leaving, a young man stopped me and said, “You're Mr. Jones. You helped change my life.”Just like that, everything else faded away.

God has a way of sending encouragement right when you need it. That brief encounter reminded me that serving others matters and that the seeds we plant in people's lives continue to grow.

Thank You, God, for allowing me to be a servant❤️‍🔥

Last Saturday, A Second Home for You was blessed to give back to the community once again. ❤️‍🔥To our community: Never underestimate the power of kindness, unity, and helping one another. When we come together, we create hope, strengthen families, and make our neighborhoods better for everyone.
Keep believing, keep supporting one another, and keep showing love. Together, we are stronger. ❤️🙏🏾

Today, I was honored to have voter registration representatives participate in our community giveback event. Voting is one of the most powerful ways to create change. Generations fought, sacrificed, and marched for this right. When we register and vote, we honor their legacy, strengthen our communities, and make our voices count. Our vote is our power, let's use it. Thank you for the support❤️‍🔥

My heart is full seeing neighbors continue to send love and appreciation for our community giveback. ❤️‍🔥
I'm grateful to have served alongside such amazing volunteers. The fact that people are still talking about the event and how everything was free reminds me that kindness and community still matter.
Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. Together, we made a difference. ❤️‍🔥

Last week, I had the opportunity to hear Representative Shontel Brown speak about the importance of voting and protecting our voting rights.

For Black Americans, voting is more than a right, it is a legacy paid for through generations of sacrifice, courage, and struggle. Today, that right continues to face challenges as voting districts are redrawn and representation is debated across the country.

The fight for voting rights did not end with the Civil Rights Movement. It remains one of the most important issues of our time. We must stay informed, stay engaged, and make our voices heard. Voting is how we honor those who came before us and help shape a better future for generations to come.

Please encourage others to vote✊🏽❤️‍🔥
