I'm grateful to have served alongside such amazing volunteers. The fact that people are still talking about the event and how everything was free reminds me that kindness and community still matter.

Last week, I had the opportunity to hear Representative Shontel Brown speak about the importance of voting and protecting our voting rights.

For Black Americans, voting is more than a right, it is a legacy paid for through generations of sacrifice, courage, and struggle. Today, that right continues to face challenges as voting districts are redrawn and representation is debated across the country.

The fight for voting rights did not end with the Civil Rights Movement. It remains one of the most important issues of our time. We must stay informed, stay engaged, and make our voices heard. Voting is how we honor those who came before us and help shape a better future for generations to come.

These young men have each received our scholarships and support from our program, and we could not be more proud of them. Watching their growth, determination, and gratitude has been inspiring. It is an honor to be a part of their journey and to witness the bright futures ahead of them. We believe these young men are destined to accomplish great things, and we are excited to see all that they will become. Keep striving, keep believing, and keep making your mark on the world! I have supported this young man for several years, so receiving his update and seeing him reach the next level truly makes my heart smile.
