How bad can a sting really bee?

Well... according to the Schmidt Pain Index, a honey bee clocks in at a respectable 2.0. That's basically nature saying, *"I'm disappointed in your life choices."* 😅

Meanwhile, the bullet ant is over there handing out 24-hour pain vacations that absolutely nobody booked.

The good news? Our bees would much rather visit flowers than people. So if you leave them alone, they'll happily ignore you and get back to making the delicious honey you came for. 🍯

Which sting have you experienced? Be honest... and if you've been stung by a bullet ant, we're pretty sure you're too busy questioning your existence to comment. 😂

Threats to Pollinators

Pollinators are facing serious threats from the overuse of chemical pesticides and herbicides, habitat loss, and climate change. According to researchers UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Honey Bee Program, neonicotinoid pesticides are a leading cause of colony collapse disorder, the sudden die off of entire hives that have shocked beekeepers all over the country
