Name: Molly Moser

Favorite Erg Song: Bad Romance by Lady Gaga
Words of Wisdom: Having the right support system can be the difference between a good experience and a great one. Surround yourself with the people you want to be like, the people who will stand up for you even when you’re not there, and the people who want to see you succeed. UCRC has positively impacted my life in so many ways, but the way I’ll always be the most grateful for will be for introducing me to my best friend, who helped push me to be the best athlete and person I could be.

Molly has served the last 3 years as our Equipment Chair. Molly finishes with 2 records on our Top-10 All-Time Erg Leaderboards for Women’s Novice 2k and Open 6k. She is a 2-time Regional Champion and 2-time National Finalist. She has a final academic year at UC where we wish her the best in her next steps but will miss her dearly.

Name: Katrina Schneider

Favorite Regatta/Regatta Site: “Head of the H***H, to see all my friends and for the merch”.
Most Memorable Erg Workout: “6k,5k,4k,3k,2k,1k with the Winter 2025 squad (Mario, Joey, Preston)”
Favorite Erg Song: Click Click Boom -Saliva
Words of Wisdom: “It never gets any easier, you just get better at dealing with it.”
Katrina adds that her proudest moment with the team is in Slide 10: “winning the W1x semis at ACRA Nationals 2026 by .030”, and having spectators on shore telling me what a privilege it was to watch such a good race, as I was rowing back to the dock.”

Katrina is a 4-year board member having served as the VP of Coms, VP of Ops, President and most recently as VP of Coms. Katrina finishes with 3 records on our Top-10 All-Time Leaderboards for Women’s Novice 2k, Open 6k and Open 2k. She is a 2-time regional champion and a recent national medalist (setting a program record finish). She has a final academic year at UC and plans to return to the Bearcat Crew in a mentorship role.

•Most Memorable Erg Workout: Dirty Dozens
•Favorite Erg Song: Believer by imagine dragons
•Words of Wisdom: If you were to do it again, but do it differently, it was still probably worth it in the first place.

Taegan has fully graduated from UC and has taken a role as a Production Designer at Packing Corporation of America. She hails from where she rowed in high school as well as over breaks and co-op semesters. She is a regional champion, a national finalist, has served on the executive board and despite injury, dedicated her final semester to coxing the next generation of novices — winning her final race as a Bearcat (victory toss pictured slide 5). She has also been a staple photographer for the program in between her races and we will miss her very much, though wish her the best in this new chapter of her life.

•Most Memorable Erg Workout: I loved dirty dozens or any circuit
•Favorite Erg Song: Crash, by the Primitives but I want a hippopotamus for Christmas is always a hit 😂
•Words of Wisdom: My tidbit would be to learn as much as you can from those around you. Work hard, soak in the little moments, and every time you want to give up, think about how amazing it is that you get to wake up every morning and pour your soul into something you love.

Laura has served on the UCRC Executive Board for 3 years, 2 as treasurer and most recently as President. She is a 2-time National Grand Finalist, a 2-time Regional Champion and sits on the Top-10 Novice 2k leaderboard. She has graduated with her undergraduate degree and has one more year at UC to finish up her master’s as well! She will be dearly missed.
